STIMULUS 2013!

$$ It’s Back! $$

What is Stimulus? Stimulus is a program that al-lows the purchase of Chamber Gift Certificates at a discount, and it has proven successful in keeping local dollars circulating in Sioux Center. Did you know? Each dollar spent at a locally owned store is usually spent 6 to 15 times before it leaves the community. From $1, you create $5 to $14 in value within the community. Since 2009 the Executive Board has made a commit-ment to our Chamber member businesses by making a Stimulus Package available in Chamber Gift Certifi-cates. Gift Certificates can be purchased at a discount with a $300 maximum purchase per family/business.

The Board has again made a commitment to fund this program for the 2013 Holiday Season with a goal of increasing the amount of gift certificates available from $75,000 to $100,000. This will allow even more people to benefit from this program. However, they are again putting out a challenge to our membership. They are giving you the opportunity to partner with them in to make this increased amount a reality. You will soon receive a letter in the mail with more information. Any questions? Please contact us at the Chamber Office!

BECAUSE ....you are doing business in this area and sharing in its prosperity. The obligations of business citizenship challenge every person and institution to subscribe actively to the advancement of the area of which he or she is a part.

BECAUSE....you prosper as our area prospers. By helping to build a thriving area your investment is strengthened and your opportunities are broadened. You have personal interest in these objectives.

BECAUSE....the support of all business and professional men and women is necessary to bring about the economic improvement of our area and the civic and business development demanded by our modern standards of living.

BECAUSE....progress and prosperity depend on the development of sound economic and social structure. These result from aggressiveness and a continuing program of activities designed to cultivate opportunities and capitalize on advantages.

BECAUSE....these goals can be reached only by a UNITED EFFORT through an organization equipped to study and conduct a sound program for area progress.

BECAUSE....the Chamber of Commerce is the only organization consistently engaged in promoting the civic and economic development of our area.
