The life of a child is a precious gift for every family. But for hundreds of families every

year that gift of life comes with heartbreak, with a doctor’s diagnosis of cancer.

Nearly 39,000 families each year rely on the Aflac® Cancer and Blood Disorder Center

of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to treat their diseases.

We are asking that you become a Personal

Care Agent, helping us to nationally notify men

and women you know about our drive to raise

$50,000, where 100% of it will go to the Aflac®

Cancer and Blood Disorder Center of Children’s

Healthcare of Atlanta. This national campaign

will begin May 1, 2013. The initial launch will be

the black tie gala held on April 27, 2013 in

Atlanta, GA. The national Care Agent drive will

follow the event with a digital media and social

media campaign to recruit Winning the Battles

In Your Mind, Inc. “Care Agents”, with our goal being, Saving The Future, One Tie At A Time.

Our organization, Winning the Battles In Your Mind, Inc. is creating a nationwide

initiative to help the families in Atlanta feel at ease when going through an uneasy

time in their lives. The families’ daily struggles to afford essential needs such as food,

clothing, shelter and medical expenses are some of the challenges we are looking to

resolve through our “Care Agents”.

Our plans are to assemble donations through “Care Agents” nationwide, with the

support from men and women like you, artists and businesses, who will help the Aflac®

Cancer and Blood Disorder Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta continue their

“hope and healing for children in Georgia and throughout the nation”. Not only will

we be helping the children who have been diagnosed along with their families, but

we want to expose the reality and the efforts of the doctors, nurses, men and women

who are on the front lines helping these families.

The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is recognized as

one of the leading pediatric cancer, hematology

and BMT programs in the country. They are

committed to providing children and young adults

with a brighter future through advanced medical

treatment, family-centered care, a child-friendly

environment that includes innovative research, with

their mission being, to make kids better today and

healthier tomorrow.

The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

was listed in Parents Magazine as the number 10 amongst the pediatric cancer

programs nationwide and they rank number 12 on the list for the country’s top

pediatric hospitals.

The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

has serves their clients in three hospitals and 17 neighborhood locations, including

five Urgent Care Centers with in the Atlanta area.

Their programs include Cancer, Cancer Survivorship, Brain and Spinal Cord

Tumors, BMT, Bleeding and Clotting Disorders, Sickle Cell Disease, Innovative

Therapy, and Fellowship Programs.
