The third party serial link cable schedule interface between ICSS and third party package should be prepared by detail engineering contractor and procured by purchaser and pull by fabricator instead of vendor. Vendor to provide the serial link information of termination to detail engineering contractor to in-corporate and issue cable schedule and MTO during detail design stage.

The third party Modbus mapping list should be reviewed and coordinated by detail engineering contractor. After award to vendor, the format of Modbus link that required by ICSS package should be include to VDRL of third party package. The sub-system interface specification of ICSS vendor need to include in TR and notify to third party package vendor to strictly follow. ICSS vendor should responsible to verify the Modbus mapping list that approved by engineering contractor before implementation.

ICSS vendor should provide the detail of F&G detectors to Detail Engineering Contractor to prepare the installation detail.

If there is 2 communication link (fiber optic and radio) to shore or to another platform. The switching function should be done by telecommunication vendor.

Vendor to responsible for monitoring and supervise the installation of ICSS cabinet and pulling cable between cabinets. The pulling cable and installation should be by fabricator

Number of IO need to be estimated with correct contingency. In Bien Dong 1 project, the original IO estimation that informed by designer is 30% to accommodate the engineering grow during detail design stage. However, it's not enough due to changing type of signal for e.g from Foundation fieldbus to hart protocol, from IS to non-IS (because of third party vendor deviation from original requirement that we assigned in beginning of project)

Number of serial Interface, type of protocol with third party package need to be identified in TR/Specification. The serial link cable schedule needs to be issued during TR preparation.

The Fire and Gas mapping need to be included in project. In Bien Dong 1 project, there is no fire and gas mapping; therefore the F&G detector is increased due to LR/VR comment. There are many addition and deletion that lead to many cost impact.

Vendor will start to do engineering and vendor data submission after the freeze design input is handover to them (P&ID, CEM, IO list, wiring, cable block, cable schedule …). The first round of submission of vendor data is required for detail engineering design contractor to perform vendor data incorporation. Vendor data incorporation including the vendor data from ICSS package as well as other related package. We need to plan for expediting vendor data of other package to make sure the vendor data in code A or at least code B with minor comment before proceeding with vendor data incorporation to issue design input for ICSS vendor.

The delivery of the package needs to be identified in TBE stage and notify to vendor during PO stage and we have to make sure not delivery too early but not too late with construction schedule to avoid the modification at site because of changing vendor data at final stage.

HSTD Remind vendor to update the weight of equipment.

Potable Water Pump

HSTD Correct Standards shall be selected earlier to save time and effort

Diesel Transfer Pump

HSTD Good communication

HSTD For this service should select the pump which steep curve

HSTD

HSD Closed Drain PumpsThese pumps is required API 674 standard but using API 675 datasheet form. HSTD It's better if we use API 674 datasheet form here.

DIAPHRAGM PUMP

TLDD Should understand real model of pump.

TLDDnote position of pump skid, and it shall suitable with model.

TLDDnoted that.

Pump Skid completed with Drip pan TLDD noted that.Immersion Heater for Test Separator

Some packages are lack of interface and Vendor Data's incorporation from Instrument Discipline. Thus some connection from Nozzles of Equipment to LG/LT… have conflict and need to be modified at Site.

Package Engineer shall have to be connected to others disciplines and check newest vendor data for incorporation.

Package Engineer shall have responsibility to advise the Dimension QAQC to check all main dimensions and layout drawing which have effect to connection to Piping Discipline and correct before approving for fabrication.

Some equipments have a difference content of name plate between Name Plate Drawing and the one is mounted on equipment. Thus, it effects to close re-instatement, punch list after finishing hydrotest piping system.

Package Engineer shall have responsibility to correct Name Plate Drawing after finishing FAT.

PE shall check carefully preservation procedure and notify the vendor to maintain flange face

Missing Hold down Bolts, Blind Flange, Bolts, Nuts, Gaskets for Vent and spare Nozzles which don't have connection to others. (Note: These items were not capture in the piping bulk MTO, it only belongs to equipment)

PE shall clarify all accessories when doing TBEto avoid missing subsequently.

The vendor updated the crane weight from 48MT to 60MT in nearly completion of Detail Engineering phase. The 12MT increase will impact to the overall platform weight.

At first API 610 standard was used and changed to ASME B73.1 Pump. The datasheet format is different for above Standards.Replacing with new datasheet is time consuming.

The flowrate and Pump Head was updated in datasheet by SG team without informing to VT engineers.

Since VT engineers are involved in this equipment and to vendor data review. All changes to design data should notify to concerned engineers for their awareness.

Vendor supply the flat performance curve for this service. It's difficult for control and dangerous for motor if the head increase immediately

The suction line is 2" with reducer 2"x3" directly connected to pump suction of 3".

In this case, suction line is smaller than pump nozzle, which may result to pump starvation. We noticed this installation but currently still unchanged.

As good engineering practice, suction line shall be equal or larger size with reducer. Follow manufacturers recommendation.

size and weight of pump are much larger than the model that we design in PDMS

the design of Pump skid meets with pump weight and provides all data for Open Drain Tank manufacturer to connect (in this case, pump skid is placed on the top of tank)

Nitrogen charging kit shall be supplied as special tool for dampener.

Remove the monorail, Use crane instead of monorail

Tank

HSTD

HSTD

The Chemical Storage tank does not bolted in the left and right side HSTD The tank shall be bolted aroundThe lifting lugs is welded on the roof while the Open Drain Tank's is welded on the shell HSTD Weld the lifting lug on the shell but Vendor did not agree.

HSTD

Clarify and scrutinize bids during TBC.Utility Gas Cooler

HSTD

Pig Launcher/Receiver

The code apply for design is not confirmed the requirement from VR HSTD Note, and attend when prepare the datasheet for another project

HSTD To follow the Insulation Specifications.

Test Separator Vessel

It was informed that the area for immersion heater is tight with possible obstruction to Piping, Structural bracing, Panel and hand railing. With several follow-up until such items (panel, piping etc.) already setup on that location. Then vendor issued GA drawings with length cannot fit due to obstructions.

In this case, SG decided to reduce the length and the KW rating of heater of one heater which may result to uneven heating.

The preferred location for lifting items ( lugs, beam clamps etc.) are already with overhead piping, pipe support and cable trays which causes obstruction.

In this case, to facilitate the mechanical handling equipments inter-discipline coordination is necessary.

It was informed to update PDMS model for Pedestal Crane due to visible obstruction at crane ladder & maindeck handrailing. This was left un-changed until lately it was recognized that the interference requires maindeck extension.

In HST, use the monorail trolley hoist for drop down the pigging tool and heavy Valve even though The Pedesal Crane can reacher

The elevation of Open Drain Tank was incorrect in the Vendor Data & PDMS Model against Structural Drawings.

To check alignment of relevant drawings, documents, PDMS models and current vendor data.

The Chemical Storage tank did not have nozzles support under the bottom.Manhole did not use the straddle bolts

Need to have support type for nozzles under the bottom of tank. The Manhole must use the straddle bolts

Rectangular tanks are not provided by Vendor with roof perimeter stiffeners. Roof stiffeners shall be provided in tanks per good engineering practice, these should be clarified with Vendor during TBC..

The HSD Utility Gas Cooler design and location was discussed and not finalized for long time. Natural Air Gas Cooler type location is adjacent to walkway and on Hazardous Area.

Study of equipment design should be done in earlier phase of the project. Hot surface heat transfer equipments should locate outside the hazardous area as possible.

Focus on equipment design at earlier stage of project considering safety & fit-for-purpose study.

The required material of this service is corrosion resistance and can work at 128 oC

At first the SS was selected but the maximum temperature is 60 oC only. Carbon Steel could work upto 150 oC but it's corroded in salinity environment. Therefore, Duplex Stainless Steel SS 31803 was the best choice with non corrosion and maximum temperature 140 oC (material piping specification)

We noticed the personnel protection insulations are not provided for Production Launcher which is operating up to 128degC as per datasheet and vendor drawing.

CLOSED DRAIN VESSEL

TLDD

TLDDexternal corrosion of CDV can calculate 1mm

TLDD

we shall use the latest standard in this case

TLDDwe must carefully review the drawing, and note that.

We noticed that Sliding Plates of Test separator are not model on PDMS and clarified to lead whose scope, able to determine the dimension and thickness provided so the elevation of equipment and its nozzles can be fixed.

Later the sliding plates are informed to be provide by Structural.

In practice, sliding plate sets are provided by Vessel Vendor, since vendor are more aware of the loads, know the sliding plate material considered on saddle design, friction factor, allowable expansion and to provide correct sizes for sliding plate.

Close heater drain vessel does not have enough space to remove for maintenance and repair, because of affect the space around the device as the column structure.(Closed drain vessel)

Should have experience in 3D models, when we design, we need to understand principles of operation and maintenance of equipment to fit the space allocated.

External corrosion of closed drain vessel, if CDV have insulation, corrosion of CDV can include internal and external corrosion.

we need to note about material of heater that complied with NACE or not?In the later NACE standard (2000), incoloy 800 is compiled comply. But NACE standard (2003), incoloy 800 is compiled comply. Only incolloy 825 is complied.

Insulation support ring for these vertical vessels are not indicate in GA drawing at the bottom of vessels, so we can't insulate.
