“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in
these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.”

“Raising Kids With A Faith That Lasts” by Tim Kimmel is a study that introduces you to one
of your greatest privileges-helping your child begin a relationship with God. You'll see how
everyday conversations, family fun and purposeful
projects build spiritual foundations your son or
daughter can rely on for a lifetime and beyond.
Our immigrant family, Ali and Salwa Bilal, are in
need of rides to the grocery store, English classes, etc.
They enjoy going to “Alice”, in the Tipaskan area
(34 Ave and 85 St), to buy some of their Middle Eastern food. No interpreter is needed as the
store owner speaks Arabic. They usually go once per week. Other rides would be occasionally.
If you are able to help, please contact Magdy Mikhail
at 780-462-2682.

We Believe: in One God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, existing
eternally in three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit
in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, born of the virgin Mary, who
died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose from the
grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father
that salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for
all people, and that anyone who believes in Him will not
perish but have everlasting life
that Christians are to be filled with the Holy Spirit to grow
in godly character and serve the Lord more effectively
that the Bible is the Word of God and is our final authority
for faith and practice
in the blessed hope of the return of Christ to receive the
church unto Himself and to judge the world in
righteousness.

GRADE 5/6 NIGHT
We want to thank all of those who made the Children’s Christmas Production a success!
To the children who worked hard to learn their lines and songs, the parents who brought them out to practices and
encouraged them.
To Shantelle Webb who gave her time for planning and practices, and her husband Jeff who took on extra household
duties to enable his wife the time away.
To Charlene Vandenbrink and Lauren West who taught the 2-4 year olds “O Glorious Night”.
To Bette Fox and Sherryl Guetre who helped to sew costumes.
To the Lund’s and Parson’s who assembled the treat bags and distributed them.
To Paul, Dawn and Sunja who decorated the Fellowship Hall. To the Fellowship Team and the parents who took care of the
food and serving.
To all the Ushers, Greeters, Stage Hands and Technicians who worked hard to have everything go smoothly.
