Message from Miss King
As we come to the end of a busy, exciting and successful Autumn term may I take this opportunity to say thank you for all your ongoing support. The children have enjoyed entertaining you all with their nativity and singing performances. Today they’ve enjoyed a scrumptious christmas dinner with all the trimmings and they look very festive in their christmas jumpers. School finishes at 3.30pm on Tuesday 20th December and children return on Wednesday 4th January. Wishing you a safe and happy holiday period.

Attendance
Unfortunately our school attendance fell below the Hackney and National averages last year. We need to all work together
to ensure good attendance in school and know that good attendance is an integral part of your child’s process here at
Thomas Fairchild.
Holidays in term time cannot and will not be authorised. Not only do you risk receiving a fine but your child’s place could
also be at risk. If you take an extended holiday during term time you may lose the place and will need to reapply for a place
in school upon your return. Automatic return is not guaranteed as we do have a waiting list for most year groups.
Please work with us this year to improve our attendance figures so we are above Hackney and National averages. School Attendance w/e
