Helen Ferrigan has joined the firm inthe key role of Director of KnowledgeManagement. Helen previouslypracticed law at a leading national lawfirm with a focus on corporatetaxation and dispute resolution. As aresult of Helen’s practical legal
experience, she is very skilled at creating detailed researchmemoranda, providing general research advice andpreparing legal opinions and written advocacy.
Helen is responsible for developing strategies andinitiatives that facilitate knowledge capture, organizationand sharing, such as the firm’s precedent system andresearch bank for more cost-effective and efficient deliveryof client services.
New Commercial Litigation Lawyer
Marc Whiteley has become a memberof the Commercial Litigation Practice.
Marc joined the firm after serving ayear in a judicial clerkship with theoffice of the Chief Justice at theOntario Superior Court.
New Labour & Employment Lawyer
Jeffrey Percival has become amember of the firm’s Labour &Employment Practice, joining usfrom the Toronto offices of a nationallaw firm. Jeffrey’s experienceincludes advising management ondiverse labour and employment
matters such as collective bargaining, grievanceadjudication, WSIB claims, and complaints under theOntario Human Rights Code.
In addition to an extensive history with a variety ofcommercial and civil litigation matters, Jeffrey is fluentlybilingual in English and French and holds a Master of Lawsdegree in Securities Law.

Lisa Sticht-Maksymec has joined theFirm’s Wills, Estates & TrustsPractice. No stranger to the Region ofPeel, Lisa practiced in the areas ofEstate Administration and EstateLitigation at another major Peel firmprior to joining Pallett Valo LLP.
Lisa takes the time to understand each client’s uniquecircumstances, both when developing an estate plan andalso when exploring the legal and practical solutions tocontentious estate matters.
