What is Aarhus Case Competition? Aarhus Case Competition is an annual competition exclusively for Nordic business students. The first edition of the event took place in April 2012 and the success of the first event will be repeated in week 15 of 2013. The entire week is dedicated to Aarhus Case Competition, a week of intense case solving. Every business student in the Nordic countries gets the chance to apply. Our premium partner Quartz+Co will choose the 9 teams based on their skills and grades. These will be the participants in the intense competition. 21 voluntary students from different educational programs at Aarhus University is organizing ACC, which is done in close collaboration with our premium partners Deloitte and Arla, and with support from Aarhus University In a case competition, students compete in providing the best possible solution to a real life business case presented by a major global company. The participants of ACC have 30 hours to prepare their solutions in teams of three people. The three best teams will present their results to a jury consisting of CEOs, top executives and +500 stakeholders after which the best solution wins first prize. The mission of ACC is to prepare business students for a business career through case solving where students will have to use their theoretical knowledge to provide the best solution. Through workshops with consultants from Quartz+Co and Deloitte, students will learn tips and tricks to solve and present cases in a professional way. These tools can be very useful in their future career and ACC should be seen as an opportunity for students to develop their business skills. By bridging the business and academic world, the goal of ACC is to raise the overall educational level.

• Bridging academia and business: ACC provides students with tools for solving a business case. All the students will need to bring is their theoretical knowledge obtained through education. • Challenge the Nordic elite: Students will have the chance to test their abilities against top students from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

• Networking: ACC offers a selection of different social events where students will get the opportunity to network with other participants as well as people from the corporate world.

• All expenses paid: Participants from the Nordic countries will get a week in Aarhus with all expenses covered by ACC.
