Wendy’s Favourite Baby Blanket (Dishcloth Pattern Extra Large Dish Cloth Makes a Beautiful Baby Afghan) This is the easiest dish cloth pattern I know, always use cotton yarn when making dish or face cloths. For a baby afghan use this pattern until it increases to about 185 stitches on needles, transfer to round needles, as you decrease change back to regular needles if you like. Dish Cloth Cast on 4 stitches Row 1, Knit 4 Row 2, Knit 2 yo (yarn over hook), Knit to the end of the row Repeat Row 2 until you have 44 st(s) (stitches) on the needle for the cloth or 185 st(s) for blanket Decrease Rows Knit 1, Knit 2 tog (together), yo Knit 2 tog, Knit to end of the row. Repeat this row until you have 4 st(s), and bind off. If you would like a hook to hang the cloth, before binding off, break yarn and draw through, Using a crochet hook chain about 10 st(s) and fasten securely. You will just love this pattern too!
