Write a composition of at least 150 words about a wish. The pictures are provided to help you think about this topic. Your composition should be based on one or more of these pictures. Consider the following points when you plan your composition:
What is the wish?
Why wish for that?
You may use the points in any order and include other relevant points as well.

Consider the following points when
you plan your composition:

Why was it challenging?

2. Pictures
When you first look at the question, it is important to take note of
the theme and the three pictures given. For your composition,
you have to write about the theme based on one or more of the
pictures given.
To ensure that you are writing on track, we need to:
1. Unpack the theme and;
2. Identify the abstract/ literal interpretation of the pictures.
3. Choose at least one picture that connects with the theme

Your Task
Imagine that you are Susan who has just returned
from her school Musical Night.
Write a short letter to your favourite cousin,
Jenny, telling her proudly of your school event
and your successful performance.
You should refer to the programme on the previous
page.
In your letter, include the following information:
• what the event was about
• when and where the event was held
• which item you were taking part in
• why you found it challenging
• how you felt about your performance
You may reorder the points. You should write in
complete sentences.
