Welcome to London Anime & Gaming Con!

Taking place over THREE FULL DAYS with THREE entire stages including a dedicated gamingstage - there is so much to look forward to! We have an amazing guest lineup featuringvoice actors Monica Rial and Derek Prince. Between them they have done hundreds ofcharacters in all your favourite anime. Make sure to stop by the guest signing area to getyour autograph signed. We also have some of the world's top gaming youtubers inattendance including Caddicarus and DidYouKnowGaming. Other big guests includeinternational J-Pop sensation Lele, and much more!

Meanwhile, our Anime Screening is now upgraded to an entire theatre on the Saturday andSunday, and will show anime episodes & movies courtesy of MVM Entertainment &Crunchyroll. You can also expect a wide range of anime merchandise in the dealers areasand some of the UK's top artists in our Artist Alley. We also continue to be the home of UKCosplay, with over a dozen of the best UK cosplayers guesting at the event and hours ofcosplay content from talks, panels and events, and not forgetting the UK CosplayChampionship finals which will be taking place on the Sunday with a £250 cash prize. Thetotal prize pool for our three cosplay contests totals over £1,500 of prizes, courtesy ofdonations from our sponsors Xcoser.

And of course, there's Gaming – with almost a dozen big tournaments including all yourfavourites with several tournaments such as Overwatch, League of Legends and Smash 4with £100 cash prizes at stake for the winners!

Main BuildingWhere you first enter. From this area you can access all the other buildings and zones.

– Reception - Visit the Registrations desk, there to help and answer any queries youmay have. Also check the clan scoreboard - is your clan winning?

– Anime Chillout - Courtesy of MVM and Crunchyroll, screenings of old and new animewill be shown all day. Along the corridor there is a larger main anime screeningtheatre.

– Video Gaming Lounge – As well as the main gaming building we will have a VGlounge with more music orientated games with a more relaxed/bar atmosphere.

– Panels & Parties Stage - Watch panels from guests and industry experts, live-musicstarts after 6pm followed by a different themed party after 8-9pm each night. For themain stage, go upstairs to the great hall and upstairs stage.

– Dealers Corridor – (Open Saturday & Sunday only) In addition to the dealers upstairs,we have more dealers at the back of the bar area. Merchandise from manga to DVDs.

Extra areas (Saturday and Sunday only) along the corridor and through doors at the end- – Cosplay Photography & Chillout Zone – Free photography throughout and chill space– Guest Signing Zone – Also located in the . Special guests will be there on Saturday

and Sunday.– Artist Alley – With some of the top UK artists, there will also be a chillout space to

draw.

Gaming Building (Via Food Court)

(Saturday & Sunday Only) The Gaming Building is open from 11am to 8pm and is accessedvia the Food-Court up a flight of stairs. The Gaming Building is split into two main halls – the

first contains our Tabletop and TCG/RPG area while the second hall contains our gamingand gaming stage and is accessed via a set of doors to the left hand side of the first hall.

Tabletop Zone – In the first room, with Games Quest and Esdevium Games providingboardgames and Parallel Worlds hosting TCG tournaments throughout the weekend suchas YGO, MTG, Vanguard and more.Tournaments Zone - With £100s worth of prizes up for grabs in our free to playtournaments (See Tournaments Page for more information). There will also be a number ofmodern gaming setups available to drop in and play at any time.Retro Zone - The place for gamers to relax, and enjoy gaming. Make sure to play lots of ourultra-rare consoles on display! Retroactive shall feature as part of this area.Gaming Stage - Featuring talks by leading gaming and industry community members, TheBig Game Quiz, and the big tournament finals shall take place on this stage.

Gaming TournamentsOver a dozen tournaments with great prizes up for grabs! Saturday & Sunday only. We have

THREE Headline tournaments with £100 cash prizes in Overwatch, Smash & LoL!

Saturday– Headline Tournament: Overwatch & Smash 4 Singles. Both these tournaments have

£100 cash prizes to the winner.– Standard Tournaments: League of Legends 1v1, Tekken 7, Dragonball Fighter Z and

Mario Kart 8. The winners will get a pair of full ticket each to the next London Animeand Gaming Con worth £29 each.

Sunday– Headline Tournament: League of Legends 2v2. The winning team will receive a prize

of £100 cash (£50 per person).– Standard Tournaments: Call of Duty WW2, Street Fighter V, DDR Tournament, and

FIFA18. Winners will get a pair of full ticket each to the next London Anime andGaming Con worth £29 each.

Both Days– Retro games are available to play in the gaming area, thanks to Retroactive! So come

along and say hi, and stay for a game or two. – Lots of games are available to play in our gaming area, so come check out our

selection and our gaming stage events!– We have a variety of gaming challenges throughout – ask our team for details!

Sign-Up Information

– Sign-ups take place at the signups desk in the Video Gaming Hall next to the entrance.

– All tournaments ask you to bring your own controller - we will provide if not but can'tguarantee quality

– All sign-ups open at11am for everytournament at the startof each day and close at12:30pm for earlytournaments and at4pm for latetournaments.

– A lot of tournamentswill have specific rules,please ask crew for theinformation.

Friday HighlightsThis year London Anime & Gaming Con will be happening over three days. Friday is anopening preview day, beginning at midday and going on until midnight – a great way tomake friends and ease into the event. Make sure not to miss out on Friday's Highlights!

Icebreaker & Clan Battle Opening, Midday Downstairs Stage– Join a clan, & play a series of icebreaker games to help youto get to know one another! Great way to start your event.

Cosplay Blind Date, 1pm – A valentine's special! Act as yourcharacter on stage and help your character find love! <3

Cosplay Guests Q&A, 5pm – Featuring Brazilian cosplay guestof honour Lollipop Bunny amongst some of the topcosplayers in the UK and worldwide. Lollipop Bunnie isamongst the most famous cosplayers in the world. FromBrazil, she has been cosplaying since 2004 with over 200costumes ranging from anime, mangas, games and sci fi.

Dub That Anime, 5pm Downstairs - The aim of this event is to dub a 30 second clip of our choice live on stage. The funnier the better. This can be done as an individual or group.Talent Show, 6pm Upstairs Stage Forget X-Factor or The Voice. AnimeLeague’s Got Talentis where it is at! Can you sing or dance? Perhaps you have a more unique talent. Whateverit is, enter and show off! £50 prize for the winner!

Jeopardy w/ Voice Actor Derek Steven Prince, 7pm – A Q&A with Steve who has been inthe voiceover industry 22 years having done easily over 100 voices. He is best knownstarring in Digimon as the Digimon Emperor, Piedmon and various roles, as well as ShinoAburame in Naruto, Uryu Ishida in Bleach, KeitaroUrashima in Love Hina, and Elga in the Power Rangerseries. This will be the first of three talks – one oneach day, make sure not to miss them! Steve will bedoing signing sessions at the end of each talk as well.

Karaoke Challenge Night, 6pm-8pm: Come join theArcadia Maid Cafe girls, who will be hosting thisspecial Karaoke Challenge Night! Sing along to yourfavourite tunes, with the best attempts winning cakeand prizes!

Opening Night Parties, 9pm Onward – Our openingparty night kicks off with tunes from Anime Andre andDoug Horizon. Get those glowsticks out for anawesome party!

Saturday Highlights

Cosplay Talks & Panels Throughout - Throughout theevent you can get hands on and learn new skills toimprove your craft from some of the UK’s bestcosplayers. This includes Beginners Guide to Cosplay,Cosplay Photography Guide, Props and much more.

Video Game Stage Talks Throughout – An entirestage dedicated to video gaming talks and games inthe VG building. Highlights include the Gaming Quiz,a talk on gaming music, design and much more!Gaming Youtube Guests Q&A, Midday - We haveseveral well-known gaming youtubers including fan-favourites Caddicarus and DidYouKnowGaming whohas over million subscribers. Other guests includeSlopesGamingRoom, Professor Juice, Tomacus &moreHarajuku Fashion Show, 1pm Upstairs Stage - FromLondon to Tokyo, you will feel transported onto thestreets of Harajuku as attendees strut their stuff inan array of styles from Lolita, Visual Kei and Gyaru.

Cosplay Auction, 4pm - A great way to meet new people with proceeds going to EpilepsyAction. All volunteers go up for bid to the audience, the highest bidder of each Cosplayerwinning the company of that Cosplayer for an agreed amount of time LELE J-Pop Performance, 5pm Downstairs - From Australia, and with over a quarter of amillion fans LELE's J-Pop music has been featured worldwide alongside some of the largestnames in anime. Make sure to also catch her talk on about J-Pop on midday of Saturday onthe upstairs stageDigimon & Friends w/ Derek Steven Prince (18+),7pm - A card based game where you can ask ANYquestion you want to either "Steve" or anycharacter he's voiced. Depending on the card, thetables may turn and one of the "friends" mayentertain you with some "adult-based" reading!Re:Make Live Band 8pm Downstairs - Re:Makeare a band who pride themselves on having funand making sure everyone else is having fun too.They draw their inspiration from nerd culture andall their songs are inspired by various games andanime. Woo!Party & Rave, 9pm till late - Guest DJs Baka Punkand Archari will play our favourite tunes fromKyary, Perfume and Psy as well as chiptunes!

Sunday Highlights

Marvel Comics Q&A w/ Lee Townsend, 11am - LeeTownsend has been working in the comic industry asan artist for over 20 years. He has worked for Marvelon titles such as Deaths Head, ActionMan,Transformers, Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men,Iron Man, Hulk and more! Come join his comicsQ&A!

Monica Rial, Voice Actor Q&A, 2pm Upstairs Stage –Monica is a voice actress for over 400 animecharacters including Stocking from Panty andStocking, Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles, Maychang from Fullmetal Alchemist, Bulma from DBZ.Come join her for a special Q&A!

Cosplay Masquerade atm 1pm & CosplayChampionship 3pm at Upstairs Stage: Enter our

cosplay contest to showcase your beautiful creations for a chance to win £100 and toqualify for the UK finals at 3pm. The finals will feature the UK's top cosplayers who qualifiedin 2017. They'll all compete for £250 prize, trophy and for the title of the top UK cosplayer!

Big Geek Quiz, 4pm Downstairs Stage - Who will be the King of the Geeks? Test your geekknowledge in the big geek quiz. Featuring rounds on both anime, gaming and music as wellas some general knowledge. Get your friends together - the winning team will win £50!Clan Battle Showdown, 6:30pm Upstairs Stage - You have been earning points for yourchosen clan all weekend. This showdown is the final decider in who will emerge victorious!Jollyboat Live, 4pm Upstairs & 6pm Downstairs - Award Winning Comedians Jollyboat willperform with a mixture of comedy, live music and pirates! Top songs include about classicgames, D&D, pirates and Game of Thrones! Make sureto also check out the Big Geek Adventure at 1pmupstairs!League of Legends Gaming Finals, 5pm Gaming Stage– With a £100 grand prize to the winning team, makesure not to miss out on the gaming finals. The gamingstage also has the Overwatch finals, similarly with a£100 first prize on Saturday. The Kut Live Band, 7pm Downstairs - Inspired bybands like Nirvana, this girl trio have played at the2012 Olympics, were voted 3rd in MTVs best unsignedband, have performed sets for Kerrang!, Klub, done14+ dates on the Club Criminal Tour, been playlistedon cable tv channels and much more!

The Clan Battle!

When you enter LAGC, you can head to the AL Merchandise desk (located at the end of theside corridor – see the main areas map) to collect a free conbadge to wear showing whichclan you're in. You then earn points for them over the con to help towards victory! Pointsare calculated by who wins events, helps & so forth!

Clan Points & The Scoring SystemYou can earn points for your clan by (a) winning a tournament/event, (b) staffing for theevent or (c) special events. When you win an event or tournament, you will be handedstickers with points on them. You take these stickers and stick them on to the clan of yourchoice's tally chart at registrations. You can also go there to see which clan is winning.

- Small events such as TCG tournaments give 15 points to 1st, 10 points to 2nd and 5 pointsto 3rd. - Medium events which are on stage such as Dub That Anime and the big VG tournamentsgive 30 points to 1st, 20 points to 2nd and 10 points to 3rd.- Large events such as the Cosplay Masquerade, Big Geek Quiz, Talent Show and so forthgive 45 points to 1st, 30 points to 2nd and 15 points to 3rd.- The Clan Battle Showdown event on the Sunday evening awards a massive bonus of 300points to the winner of it in a high stakes winner takes all battle. Make sure not to miss this,it could make a big difference!
