RAW MATERIAL CONTROL Aggregates Routine material checks are carried out by physical inspection as well as by sieve analysis of all aggregates. Once in every three months, material samples are sent to independent laboratories for sieve analysis (grading), salt content, sulphate, chlorides and specific gravity tests.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS TheThe Manufacturing process is carried by using state of the art German machines to ensure high quality of products are produced at a high output rate and the entire process is minutely controlled in the central control room, 24x7, process checks as below.
Constant monitoring moisture content in mix.
Monitoring Texture, dimension & heights.
Monitoring Curing time.
Routine plant checks as per machine manuals.
Regular maintenance with qualified technicians. Regular maintenance with qualified technicians.
Monitoring wet weights.
CURING METHODOLOGY Our Blocks & Pavers are cured by using the state-of-the art hydration heat and vapor curing system, allowing blocks to cure in their moisture.
ThisThis unique system, unlike conventional steam curing, allows the factory to produce blocks of higher strength and at substantial faster production speeds. The curing chambers are purpose built to account for the heat transfer to concrete elements by maintaining the required humidity. The curing systems allow the plant to run in a closed loop. Moisture curing commences immediately after a chamber is filled totally with the wet product; and de polarizing of the sealed chambers cannot be open prematurely thus preventing the product to be removed before its curing time. The system is pre-programmed to ensure that chambers are opened at the exact pre specified timetime (usually after 8 hours) when product is cured to the prerequisite period. The products once removed from the curing chambers is kept in the yard for natural curing for roughly 48 hours, to gain optimum curing levels.
FINISHED PRODUCT CHECKS Finished products are tested in internal laboratory on a daily basis to comply with BS, ASTM, DM and ESTIDAMA (Abudhabi) standards.
Cement :
Water :
Pigments :
Calibration of weighing scale :
Mandatory submission of test certificates by the supplier against each delivery coming from cement factory.
Water analysis tests carried out every three months, which is sourced from DEWA.
Company relies on technical data provided by supplier, and in compliance with BS1014-1975 (1986) Standards.
The process of weighing scale calibration is done by Third party accredited with Dubai Municipality.

Fire Resistance Primarily stands for the duration for which masonry blocks resist to fire as per specifications. The inherent thermal mass acts as a heat storage. Fire rating is turning to be a mandatory requirement.
Sound ResistSound ResistancePrimarily deals with the values concerned with sound insulation in order to provide reasonable resistance to sound waves and less transmission of noise and acoustic performance.
UV ResistancePrimarily deals with Ultra violet rays' and its resistance in masonry blocks to partially block such rays which are harmful and can cause damage to health.

DISCLAIMER
COLOUR: Due to the phenomenon of different curing, slight colour and shade variations may occur in individual coloured concrete products. Site conditions, seasonal manufacture or naturally occurring variations in the aggregates used, can also cause variations. This is generally considered to enhance the natural stone effect and the colours will invariably weather in time.
EFFLORESCENCE: All concrete products may undergo the temporary phenomenon of efflorescence. This is not detrimental to the product performance in any way and HMA Blocks cannot be held accountable for its occurrence. This will generally stabilize over a period of time.
ORDERING:ORDERING: In this context it is suggested during laying the pavers, the tiles to be ordered as a total batch and drawn from several bundles at the same time to avoid any colour variation. Choice of colours should be made from actual material rather than the colour photographs herein.
WEATHERING: Just as a natural stone, the appearance of concrete products will weather and change, especially after a period of time exposed to the environmental elements.
SHRINKAGE:SHRINKAGE: Hussain Mohd Abbas Block Factory pavers are manufactured to capture the authenticity of natural stone and as such fissures may occur on larger individual tile as an effect of natural shrinkage. This does not alter the product durability.
LIABILITY:LIABILITY: Liability in respect of any statements, conditions, warranties and representations made on behalf of Hussain Mohd Abbas Block Factory cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained as a result of following it. We will not take any responsibility or liability in respect of products being used for any purposes other than those for which they were intended for by the manufacturers. Due to our continuous evolution of product design and improvement, our range is subject to change without prior notice. Customers should check whether information is up to date.
NOTE:NOTE: Should a product reach you in an unsatisfactory condition, and other than a naturally occurring one as described above, the defect would have to be apparent prior to laying. Any deviations and defects to be informed and notified to the supplier, allowing time for the rejected product to be replaced. lfthe complaint is raised after laying the product, no responsibility will be accepted for any relaying or removing costs.
