Our Goals
To prepare each child for the middle school experienceTo challenge each student to reach their fullest potentialTo have your child become responsible for their own education
Curriculum
Curriculum is the same as if they were in a middle school setting.Everything is taught at a Pre-AP (Advanced Placement) level.Everything taught addresses the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
Report Cards – New Look
One Report Card for Grades 1-6Core Subjects are Reading, English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and HealthSpecial Area subjects are Art, PE, and Music (will include either Band or Orchestra and may Choir)Personal Development grades phrasing looks different, but generally the same.
Gradespeed
Utilize it as much as possible to keep track of your child’s progress in schoolOne bad grade is no reason to panic. Scores are averaged. If there is a pattern of poor grades, then you have our permission panic.Keep track of your child’s homework completion.
