Dear Friends of Bishop Chatard,
Welcome to Chatard-A-Bration 2020!
On behalf of the Board of Regents, administrators, faculty, staff and, most importantly, the students we serve, I would like to thank you for going back in time to the Roaring Twenties (Bishop Chatard style). From the invest-ment in our theatre program, to tuition assistance for our families in need, to compensation for our gifted and dedicated teachers, tonight is a wonderful opportunity to support our mission while celebrating our amazing faith com-munity.
Support of Chatard-A-Bration is one of the most important ways you can help our school flourish and affect our students’ success. Please participate tonight in our silent and live auctions and “Fund-a-Need” cause (to support our fantastic theatre program).
Our special thanks to Brad & Eileen Countryman for chairing The Roaring Twenties. In addition, our gratitude goes out to all of the committee chairs, volunteers and staff who assisted with this evening’s event. Lastly, join me in expressing our sincerest appreciation for our sponsors, who help to make this event such a huge success each year. Please take a moment to look at the list included in this program and thank all those who helped make this evening possible.
I think you will all agree with me that the Bishop Chatard community is “ the berries.” Please join me in celebrating our great success with a Charleston or two!
God Bless you,
Bill SahmPresident, Bishop Chatard High School
Under the direction of Brad and Eileen Countryman and the Chatard-a-Bration Advisory Committee, The Roaring Twenties has provided our school community an exceptional opportunity to celebrate together all the unique and wonderful aspects that make us Bishop Chatard. This group of parent and alumni leaders worked diligently to secure sponsors, provide intriguing live & silent auctions, and create an event that enables us to elevate the education we provide to our students. It is with gratitude that BCHS extends a sincere thank you to Brad and Eileen and those who are listed here. Please join us in thanking them tonight.
Thank you to our event chairs and committee members!

Ronald Reagan said, “ The arts and humanities teach us who we are and what we can be. They lie at the very core of the culture of which we’re a part.”
The students at Bishop Chatard deserve a program that has a strong foundation so that their creativity and self-expression is supported in every way. It is not about creating theatre stars but rather, kids who f ind their voice; conf idence; joy; and a stronger sense of self. That is not to say that we are not going to prepare them for a career in the performing arts—we will! However, the bigger picture is to enhance their gifts by giving them the tools, support, and conf idence to be better performers on-stage and better people off-stage.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT!
