● “I hope that I find my real friend group. I really want to join Women of BRIC, and the rally board too. I really think it is important to get involved with the school, not only athletically but also in spirit.”

Subject Tests
Wondering which tests to take? ✓ The SAT Subject Tests that you take
should be based on your interests and
academic strengths. The tests are a
great way to indicate interest in specific
majors or programs of study (ex.pre-med,
engineering cultural studies).
✓ You should also consider whether the
colleges that you’re interested in require
or recommend Subject Tests.

55 percent of juniors will improve scores when taking the SAT for a second time in the fall.
Take it twice. Most colleges will superscore.
October of 10th Grade → PSAT (NMSQT)October of 11th Grade → PSAT (NMSQT)
March/May of 11th Grade → SATApril/June of 11th Grade → ACT
May/June of 11th Grade → Subject Tests Fall of 12th Grade → Re-test if needed (SAT, ACT, ST)
High School Transcript
Saint Francis transcript is the permanent academic record reflecting the academic achievement of the student
o The transcript is the most important part of the college application
Official SFHS transcript calculates weighted and unweighted GPA
Private/out-of-state public colleges look at weighted GPA at end of the 6th semester
UC/CSU calculate their own GPA based on 4 semesters (Grades 10-11)
