both court and administrative funds. The interplay between sections 43.19, 116.21, and 717.117 will be discussed as well as issues recently raised by the Department of Financial Services about reporting. There will be an open discussion of methods of tracking adjudicated verses non-adjudicated registry funds and 717 funds also in the registry. Some of the problematic situations will be identified and options provided to achieve resolution with the discrepancies with the Department of Financial Services. This session will also review when it is appropriate to assess more than the $50 reopen fee and when it is not.

completed in November and December, 2015 . The project was an analytical examination of workload of the Clerks and the impact of changes to the cost and revenue base. While cases processed have decreased over the past five years statewide, the empirical data supports the workload has not decreased over the same time period. The project also analyze variations of cost and revenue drivers across the Clerk’s offices. The purpose of the presentation will be to review the results of the consultants work and summarize the key factors that have caused an increase in workload , and revenue and cost drivers (largely driven by factors beyond the Clerk control ) impacting Clerk’s revenues and costs.
