MEN’S MISSION TRIPWe are planning a trip to Mission Lazarus in Tommy Hemphill’s honor on April 2-April 8, 2018. If you are interested in going, please sign up on the Service Station bulletin board or see Mike Forsthoff by December 31. There will be an informational meeting Sunday, Dec. 31, at 9:15 a.m. in the west corner of the Gym to get an idea of interest and help with planning.

TV & RADIO BROADCASTSBecause of continual rising broadcast cost and changing trends in the deliv-ery of digital media, the elders have decided to discontinue our radio and TV broadcast through Charter, CPWS and WKRM. Our last broadcast will be December 31. This annual cost of almost $14,000 will be shifted to support-ing other mission efforts. Our audio/video ministry team (Calvin Jackson, Paul Gibson, Chuck Simpson & Troy Rubert) will continue to record sermons and special events. These will still be available through our website, YouTube and podcasts. We will continue to provide CDs and DVDs per request. A message will be added to the remaining broadcasts that we are discontinuing our broadcast December 31 and how to obtain CDs/DVDs. If you have any questions, please talk to any elder.

NICARAGUA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL MIS-SION TRIPMedical & Evangelistic mission trip June 1-8, 2018 to Nicaragua Chris-tian School in León, Nicaragua. Gen-eral workers, doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, etc. are needed. There will be a meeting for those interested on Jan.14, at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel.

Good morning! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!

This coming quarter, we’re looking forward to some brand-new series focused on developing our faith. I be-lieve this will be enriching for all involved. However, we are in need of a few more adults in April to help us with something coming up. We don’t need many, but we need a few to help facilitate a few group discussions. If you would like to help us, I would really appreciate it!

Secondly, Winterfest costs $75/student. This covers two nights at a hotel, their ticket, and travel expenses. Pay-ments are due by February 7.

That’s all for today--have a happy new year!
