We hope that you will become a part of our wide and active group of alumni, who regularly keep in touch with their alma mater. the purpose of the

alumni relations is to strengthen the relationships between our university and society. We offer you an opportunity to develop your skills further by providing various types of continuing education.

Alumninet – Your bridge to the University

maintain your connections with the university and other alumni by registering at the alumninet (alumninet.jyu.fi). You can also subscribe to the monthly newsletter, targeted at alumni, where you

can easily read about the latest university news and events. through the alumninet, you will find your classmates and important alumninet contact de-tails, as well as information on trainings and alum-ni events. as a member of the alumninet you will receive an invitation to the annual festivities and other public events of the university.

It pays to keep in touch with your department or study programme – the departments organise all sorts of alumni activities in which you can participate, including

if you want to meet your university friends face to face, you can organise an alumni festivity in a famil-iar study environment – the university provides the facilities free of charge.

We offer diverse study paths

after graduation you may want to further your edu-cation. the study paths of the university offer you many possibilities at all stages of life. For exam-ple, avance runs the university’s executive mBa (master of Business administration) programme, enabling experienced managers to advance their professional education for managerial positions. in addition, the open university offers over 50 bachelor-level subjects in Finnish from all seven

faculties of the university of Jyväskylä, as well as a wide range of general studies, including language and communication courses. teaching is arranged in Jyväskylä, Helsinki, and in over 50 educational partner organisations throughout Finland.
