Wayfaring Stranger
I’m just a poor wayfaring stranger Traveling through this world below There is no sickness, no toil, no danger In that bright land to which I go
I’m going there to see my father I’m going there no more to roam I am just going over Jordan I am just going over home
I know dark clouds will gather round me I know my way is hard and steep But beauteous fields arise before me Where God’s redeemed their vigils keep
I’m going there to see my mother She said she’d meet me when I come I am just going over Jordan I am just going over home
I’ll soon be free from every trial This form shall rest beneath the sun I’ll drop the cross of self-denial And enter in that home with God
I’m going there to be with Jesus Over there I’ll never roam I am just going over Jordan I am just going over home
I am just going over Jordan I am just going over home

ALL SAINTS’ UNISON PRAYER
Gracious God, we give you thanks, O God, for all the saints who worshiped passionately, served faithfully, and gave generously in building your kingdom through this body of Christ.
We give you thanks, O God, for hands lifted in
praise, and hearts turned outward with love for others. We celebrate them because they left their mark on this earth for You, for us, and for generations yet to come.
For all your servants who, having finished their
course, now rest from their labors. Give us grace to follow the example of their steadfastness and faithfulness, to Your honor and glory; through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
Join us for a Potluck meal in Fellowship Hall following the 11:00 a.m. service as we celebrate our
85th Homecoming.
