When students return to school, it is important that we receive notification of the absences within 7 days, as we are required by law to keep this information on file. Notification needs to come in written form or alternatively, through the Skoolbag App. As part of our attendance monitoring procedure, reminder notes are sent home for any absences that are unexplained. If you receive one of these notes and have already notified the school, please disregard. Positive Behaviour For Learning

This week our PBL focus is showing the 3R’s by accepting the authority of casual and visiting teachers. Students need to understand that they need to treat all adults at school with the same respect they would show to their regular class teacher. This includes listening to and following instructions. At home, you could encourage teachers are there to provide a safe and positive learning environment, and they can only do this if people are listening to them.

Please keep this in mind when purchasing new items though current uniform can still be worn throughout 2019. New Sports shirts should be available for next term and we are hoping to have an alternative to the white polo’s available for sale from term 4. We won't be ordering more of the current skort in red and white gingham material or the Year 6 girls skirt in the red tartan. A grey skort in the same material as our cargo shorts will be offered as an alternative to tunics. We are still located in the community room next to 1A while canteen refurbishments are being completed. Opening times may change from next term as we are still looking for volunteers. The Black Crow Canteen – Lunch Orders ONLY

Thank you everyone for your patience whilst we have been relocated for our renovations. We are hoping to be back in our new improved canteen soon!

What do you think a cool new name for our canteen would be?? We are now holding a competition to find a new name for our canteen. So get your thinking caps on and see what you can come up with. Entry forms available from the canteen ladies.

The Canteen has relocated temporarily to the old P&C Room, which is located in the building behind the flagpoles in the 3-6 Quadrangle area. This is due to our canteen being refurbished and completely modernized. It

is going to look amazing when it is finished but please bare with us while we go through the next few weeks.

The Canteen has reopened for LUNCH ORDERS ONLY until we relocate back to our new canteen. This will mean we will have no counter service before school, at recess and at lunch. If anything is required for lunch it must be placed on a lunch order bag or ordered through the quickcliq system. Tables will be set up on the verandah for people to fill out their lunch order bags.

Thank you to all our volunteers who have helped out so far this year but whilst we are in our temporary location you are not required, so please enjoy your free time and rest up as it will be super busy when we return to our new Canteen!!

Did you know you can order your child’s lunch online up until 9.15am that day??

PLEASE ONLY ORDER WHAT IS ON THE TEMPORARY MENU.

You can now order your children’s lunches online. Check it out at – www.quickcliq.com.au Simple and easy to sign up. Please remember to update your child’s Class and Teacher on your online ordering accounts
