of March, 2009.If there is no City/School Primary Election

held, registration books will remain open through the month of February and then sub-ject to the following dates:

Registration Books will be closed for the General Election for Monday, the 23rd day of March, 2009, at 9 p.m., through the City/School General Election Day, the 7th day of April, 2009.

Voter Registration Books will then reopen on Wednesday, the 8th day of April, 2009.

Anyone wishing to register to vote may do so in the County Clerk’s Office during office hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) but anyone coming in after the books are closed, their name will be added to the list for the next upcoming Election.

Re-registration is not necessary unless you have changed residence since the last election or had a name change by legal court action.
