StoryboardA storyboard is a bit like a comic strip. It is a visual representation of the key actions within a film/television show/television commercial. Look at the example below. You will notice that it has:
Individual pictures of the key scenes A brief description of the action in each shot Different camera shots
©Miss McVittie
On the following blank storyboard, you should pick your favourite film/television series/commercial, and turn it into a storyboard. Remember to provide a brief description of the key scenes below. 😊

Thankfully, the majority of us can stay in contact through social media and video calling. Let’s be honest though, we all miss our friends. We are going to write a letter to the friend that you are missing the most.
What do I need to remember to include?o Thoughts and feelings;o How you have been filling your days;o Paragraphs;o Questions for your friend to answer – hopefully they will
write back to you; 😊o What you are missing about being with your friend;o Things that you would like to do with your friend(s) once
lockdown is liftedo Include pictures to brighten up your letter
Remember to structure your letter properly – your address goes in the top right-hand corner, and theirs goes above the start of the letter.

Boris Johnston has just announced that lockdown is being lifted as of TOMORROW. With this in mind, answer the following questions, giving reasons for your answers.
LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED!
What place are you most excited for opening and why?
Who will you visit first and what have you missed most about them?
What are you going to miss about being on lockdown?
Has ‘Tiger King’ given you inspo to own your own endangered/wild animal? You are going to research an animal of your choice, and create a leaflet in order to convince your parents that they simply MUST let you keep a Mountain Gorilla (or whichever animal you have chosen) as a pet. Let your imaginations run wild!
In order to convince your parents, you should complete research on your animal before you start. Your finished leaflet should include:
Facts and statistics Pictures Persuasive and emotive language A plea to your parents Correct spelling and punctuation

Chosen Animal: ________________________________
©Miss McVittie
Provide a description of your chosen animal. Think about its size, normal colours, type of fur/scales/skin…
Where does your animal normally like to live? Describe its natural habitat.
What threats/dangers/predators does your animal face?
What kind of climate does your animal enjoy the most?
©Miss McVittie
Why would your house benefit from having your chosen animal?
What will you do to make keeping your chosen animal easier? Think about cleaning its cage/walking it…
Examples of Leaflets
Note that every inch of the leaflet is covered and they use sub-headings to
make their different sections stand out.
©Miss McVittie
There are pictures and colours to make it stand out, however, the majority of
the leaflet is written words.
©Miss McVittie
Use the space below to complete your leaflet by printing it and cutting it out. Alternatively, you should use your own paper from home.

Letter to an Elderly Relative/Neighbour
Many elderly people (including someone you may know) live on their own. They may be finding lockdown particularly difficult, and you may also be missing them, too.
Brighten their day by posting writing, and posting, a letter to them. Use the same template that you used to write to your friend.
