Go and explore scree 7 of the Museum of Fun, clicking on all the different sections.

This advert appears. What language in it makes people want to visit the circus?

Well, it is thrilling language! Exciting verbs, lots of adjectives. The author obviously used a thesaurus.

They also include some facts such as where to find the circus so people know where to go.

Look at these sentences someone wrote advertising the circus, they are not very good…

We need to change them, up-level them to make them a lot more exciting and actually make people want to come to the circus.

How can we make them better?

We can use a thesaurus to find better alternatives.

We can add more detail.

Take a look at how I have up-levelled the first sentence.
