Day 4: SEO & Analytics

Explanation of how search engines work (crawling/indexing, ranking algorithm) Essential website features for SEO How to write content to rank well in search results Getting other websites to link to yours Optimising for local search (Google My Business) Setting up Google Analytics – key features & settings Important reports & metrics in Analytics Finding the data and answers you want in Analytics

A rounded understanding of the main digital marketing channels used by small businesses The important features and functions of a website to enable the use of these channels How to decide what the right channels and activities are for marketing a business How to accurately report and analyse performance from digital marketing

Desired Skills required?

The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of computer systems and applications, be familiar with file management, word processing systems, and have excellent written and verbal skills.

Experience of marketing fundamentals, Email, Social Media platforms image software applications and even blogging would be an advantage but not necessary. Math knowledge
