PoetryIf you didn’t get chance to have a go at writing the 4 different types of poems last week, you could continue with those.

Seaside LeafletHopefully you have designed your seaside town, in the form of a map. On your map you should have, labelled, all the features of a seaside town that you decided to include. For each feature, you need to write 2 or 3 sentences that makes each feature sound inviting and something that would be fun to see or do. It should help visitors decided how they are going to spend their day.Read the examples on the class page or below.

English/Geography

Putting together your leafletBefore you design what you leaflet is going to look like, you need to have the following things completed:

1. Name of your seaside town2. Introduction to your leaflet3. Map of your seaside town4. Sentences about each feature you have put on your map5. Art work on this week’s plan below

Now you are ready to do your leaflet!

Page 3: browncleeschool.org.ukbrowncleeschool.org.uk/wp-content/...15.6.20.docx · Web viewHopefully you have designed your seaside town, in the form of a map. On your map you should have,

Monday 15 th June Weekly Activities 15.6.20

Take a piece of A4 paper and fold it in half. On the front cover write the name of your seaside town in big, clear bubble letters. Draw a picture of your seaside town or one of the attractions. Make it eye catching and colourful!

If possible, on a different coloured piece of paper write your ‘Introduction’ and the sentences about each seaside feature. You need to cut out each section of writing so plan carefully the size of your pieces of paper as they will all need to fit in your leaflet. Look at the example on the last page below.

You need to fit in each picture you have drawn next to your writing. You can use your writing and pictures to fill up the rest of the pages inside and if you need more space you can use the back of your leaflet.
