Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Major Area: Recruitment and Onboarding % of Job Total: 40%
Recruitment Post ads in HR Central and external sites including; - Koori mail, Ethical Jobs, and ProBono. Write contracts, have contract checked by senior team member, send new starter contract and new starter
paperwork. Send weekly positions vacant email to all TSF.
Onboarding Check new starter paperwork has been returned and contact team members who have not completed. Save documents in employee files. Record documentation of working rights and validate Visas via Immi Account where applicable. Send new starters their welcome email and ADP login details. Send new starter paperwork (super, tax, banking information) to ADP via a service request. Where applicable, setup new starter with timesheet in ADP.
Major Area: Employment Checks % of Job Total: 30%
Working with Children Checks Monitor expiries and following up team members to ensure their check is renewed. Validate all new and renewed working with children checks by entering the details to relevant State Website. Save certificate of validity and note the date of validation in our records.
Police Checks Monitor and initiate check renewals in Fit2Work, reviewing the result, and updating expiry in our records. Compiling a list of cost centres against the police check invoice.
Major Area: General Administration Support % of Job Total: 20%
HR Central Champion and provide general support for our internal HR system. This may include troubleshooting basic
issues such as user logins or referring users to resources that will assist them.Probations
Remind and follow up managers. Send emails to team members congratulating them on passing their probation.
Service Awards Run a report to identify upcoming probations. Order gift cards and trophies, create certificates according to
service length, email managers with instructions and send congratulation email on behalf of HR team.Town Hall Report
Report of birthdays, new starters, and service awards each month for town hall meeting.

Assist team members/managers with timesheets. This can include adding new team members to a timesheet, setting up new timesheets, or assisting with troubleshooting basic user or system errors/issues.
Monitor pending leave requests in the system to follow up with managers who have not approved. Update reporting lines in ADP and HR Central. Assist team members with ADP password resets. Ensure that business emails are added to ADP after setup.
