VACANCY – PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support, administer and manage the PTC Windchill product data management system and its underlying foundations.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Administration:o Take the lead in day to day administration and maintenance of Windchill PDMLink.o Plan and perform upgrades to the Windchill environment.o Analyse user requirements and assist in the implementation and/or development of

technology-based solutions.o Analyse high-level business requirements and participate in strategic planning for

engineering systems.o Coordinate with the CAD Administration to develop joint solutions.o Assist with preparation of technology strategies and budgets.o Take the lead in Windchill Business Administration.o Take the lead in Windchill System Administration.

Support:o Manage and resolve technical issues in accordance with established Service Level

Agreements (SLAs).o Maintain overall technical knowledge of Windchill and other engineering systems.o Work closely with the CAD Administration to resolve issues with CAD/PDM interface.

System Management:o Support the planning and deployment of maintenance updates to PDM Systems.o Support the planning and implementation of upgrades to PDM systems.o Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new Engineering systems and

modules.o Develop Engineering systems related work processes, instructions, and standards.o Advise and support PLM related projects.

Train and guide users in systems and processes.

CRITICAL SKILLS

Experience with PTC Creo Parametric mechanical CAD and visualization software. Experience administering Oracle databases. Experience with Java development in the context of Windchill workflows. Demonstrated experience with Windchill administration, upgrades, and workflows. In depth understanding of harness data management. Experience with back-up processes and procedures. Experience in performance monitoring of Windchill or similar PLM applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in related field and other equivalent qualification will be considered. Six or more years of relevant experience.
