DECA Dues and District Competition 2018-19East High DECA will be collecting one payment of $90 for DECA dues ($30) and the district competition ($60). To join payment must be made between September 10-28. The district competition is earlier this year, therefore the payments will be collected together. The district competition permission slip is on the back of this form and can also be found on our blog or Schoology pages. DECA dues must be paid to state and national DECA so your child can participate for the year, this payment includes an East DECA tshirt. When your child pays their dues their name and date of sign up will be recorded. A short time after September 28th we will start DECA category sign ups. Category sign up is based on the date of dues payment. The earlier a student pays their dues the earlier they will be able to choose their competition category. If your child is planning on selling East DECA t-shirt sponsorships to cover the costs of dues and district competition please have them notify their business teacher.

DECA is an activity that requires the activity fee for the school district. If your child has paid this fee already they are up to date for the year. If they have not paid the activity fee, it must be paid in order for your child to participate. These are the same sign up procedures as last year.
