Club Activities

The Key Club hosted their annual Service Fair at Broad Run on March 13th. Key Clubbers gathered to-gether, performing various acts of service which all positively benefit our com-munity. Many service sta-tions were set up with sup-plies, and members were encouraged to participate in all of them. Key Clubbers made trail mix for the homeless in DC, created bracelets and cards for kids of Loudoun INMED Partnerships for Children, made origami cranes for the victims in Parkland, Florida, and used old Key Club t-shirts to make dog toys for local dog shelters and reusable t-shirt bags! In addition, Key Club teamed up with Thirst Pro-ject to dominate the global water crisis. Key Clubbers raised over $420 in their ‘Thirsty 30’ fundraiser for clean water projects in Swaziland!

Days for Girls is an organization that direct-ly affects women in villages in Africa who do not have access to menstrual pads. This organization makes reusable cloth pads and teaches about the female reproductive or-gans and that rape is not okay. In the end, this organization helps many girls by allow-ing them to go to school after they have started their period, and teaches them about their bodies.
