March Newsletter March was a quiet month for Team 195 compared to the strenuous, 6 week build season the team just came out of. During the first week of the month, the team did a robot demonstration for the boy scouts. The team displayed to the scouts how our team works, how the robot works, and further introducing the interest of STEM in their lives. We hope to see them on the team in the future. While not competing at the week 2 Waterbury District Event, the Cyber Knights volunteered at the event both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, even more team members showed up to help test the newly designed scouting system. Team 195’s main focus for the month was set on the Southern Connecticut District Event, their first event of the season. Many robots had competed in previous weeks competitions, most notably the Waterbury District Event. The CyberKnights had some catch up to do to compete for a top spot. After the first day, the team took the #1 seed, with a 6-1 record. With 3 matches remaining on day 2, the Knights aimed to hold that spot. However, with a tough loss in match 53, the team dropped to the #2 seed. Going into alliance selection, the team picked The Outliers, 5687, from Portland, Maine and rookie team Aetos Dios, 7153, from Manchester, Connecticut. The alliance made it all
