Weekly mindfulness activity:

Sometimes we feel worried or scared and that’s okay, it’s normal. At the moment, the world might feel a little bit scarier with all the things that are going on. It’s important that we share our worries with grownups we trust so that they can help us.

Here are some things you can do to help:

1. Make a worry box or jar. Everytime you feel worried or scared, write the worry down on a piece of paper and put it in the box/jar. Your trusted grownup can then look in the box and read your worries. Then they will find a time, they can talk to you about them.

2. Decorate a rock or pebble and make this your worry rock. Decide with your grown up a special place that you can put this rock whenever you feel worried. If you place it in the worry spot, this means you want to talk. Your grown up will see it and when they have time, they can talk to you about your worries.

3. Bedtime worries- Share your worries with your grown up and come up with solutions to your problems. Then try this guided relaxation to help you let go of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aX9PUQcdQ2U
