for Reserve Security Forces, the 610 SFS has also been proud to provide training to a variety of other AFSCs as the need
arose. Throughout several designations and locations the unit has remained a part of 10th Air Force and has stayed true to
the unit motto “Safe, Quality training with a Positive attitude.”

cc Commander of the organization, the driving force responsible for mission readiness, quality of force and training needs conducted on behalf of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC/A7S).
SFM The Security Forces Manager is the right hand of the commander responsible for all matters enlisted. The duties of the SFM encompass manpower, enlisted force management, and mentorship for the force.
S1 The unsung hero’s of the squadron responsible for all administrative and personnel support for the squadron. This outstanding support includes but is not limited to; orders production, MILPDS products, travel voucher and pay issues. The smallest section with the largest impact.
S2 A multi-faceted section which is tasked with unit level Anti Terrorism (AT) functions as well as managing the OPSEC and COMSEC programs. As well as unit level programs, the S2 section also conducts AT Level II and Active Shooter training courses both of which provide valuable classroom and hands-on training designed to better equip our forces to protect themselves and others.
S3 The Operations section is the largest in the squadron which contains internal unit level training as well as instructor teams trained, equipped, and designed for conducting external training venues such as Patriot Defender. Know for it’s ability to quickly and professionally design, implement, and execute training venues, the S3 section has long been known, both within and without AFRC, as a quality “can-do” Cadre.
S4 The logistical heart of the squadron, responsible for meeting the support and equipment needs for the thousand plus personnel trained annually, in addition they are also responsible for the equipment monitoring, procurement of, and “Ready To Go” status for 63 UTCs. Equally important is the attention to detail they provide to assigned vehicle fleet required to meet unit and AFRC training needs. These vehicles range from Polaris 4x4 Rangers to Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.
S5 The unit’s Plans and Programs as well as the Training and Development (T&D) function both reside within this section. You will find the T&D element focused on not only developing new course curriculum but ensuring the currency and relevancy of the existing course content.
