Back in 1985, in a place called Castelldefels (Barcelona) we started operating under the name of “Novocant”. We did our first steps on the coating business manufacturing only melamine edge bandings for the MDF melamine boards industry.

Manufacturing edge bandings which perfectly match the board’s design itself was our vision and motivation. Our willingness to excel our customer’s expectations made us realize several market studies to determine the real needs of such a good quality product within the furniture industry. The edge bandings manufactured were so successful that it didn’t take long for Novocant to be the biggest monolayer edge bandings in Spain.

After a while on the edge banding business, we considered getting into the decorative papers impregnation, moving forward getting into another exciting enterprise.It was in 1990 when Lamidecor started running within the original company’s scope. The new premises were located this time in Vinaroz (Castellón), the new project had just started.

Lamidecor and Novocant would join this adventure together under the same roof. The new factory would have a total of 10.000 sqm. We were not only manufacturing our popular edge bandings but we also invested and implemented a rotogravure printing line, two impregnation industrial lines, and a CPL line.

Lamidecor is a Company in constant development and always ahead when it comes to new products and technologies. This is why it didn’t take long for us to put in another extra line of industrial digital printing, allowing us to offer an extra range of products and designs.

Over many years operating under the most demanding standards, we have learnt quality goes beyond the quality of the product itself. OUR PRODUCTSThe manufacturing of our products begins with the printing of your ideas. We keep the development of your idea always within our premises. Since we already have the resources needed without having to move the product out of our facilities at any point in the process, everything begins and ends in our hands until the time of delivery.

Finish foil-based decorative papers are impregnated with aminoplast resins and next-generation, environment friendly lacquers finish. Its current design and the quality of the surfaces, together with the wide variety of glosses, finishes and structures, make it ideal for all kinds of surface coating.

F. FoilFor flat surfaces and profiles.

FK. FoilTo apply both on flat surfaces and mouldings. Specially developed for doors and accessories.

HD. FoilHigh definition, high quality printing foil. Perfect copies of wood with gloss/matte contrast visual effects. A total sense of authenticity and simplicity.

We replicate natural wood designs, fantasy motifs or any image of your choice. Our printings in high definition give the “alive” feeling while customizing any part of your home, giving it a unique and welcoming touch. LAMILAM laminated CPL melamine comes in different thicknesses and degrees of flexibility depending on the final use of the product. It can also be manufactured in different degrees of gloss and finishes, with a smooth surface or embossed simulating natural wood or textures such as stone, leather, metal, etc. Not only the structures create a visual effect but are also tangible to the touch.

LAMIEDGE products are dedicated to cover edges and enhance the look of wood derived boards. It is to be used as decoration for the furniture industry (CPL lamination available). It has a nice touch with a perfect visual effect.

Melaminic_ edgingsThree-layered edgings for melamine boards perfectly matched with other surface systems as required. Custom surface-embossed, brightness or design.Supplied in reels with thicknesses of 0.30 and 0.40 mm and as resistant as the melamine board.

Monolayer_A single heavyweight paper printed and impregnated, with any design of your choice to match the board surface system.It is manufactured in different degrees of brightness and embossing. Supplied in reels with a thickness of 0.30 mm.Shorter lead times available on digital printing monolayers.
