TODAY’S Competitive FactsTODAY’S Competitive Facts

Customers are in control. The customer experience is now the battleground for competitive advantage. WALCO hopes to implement a different approach to the customer experience to to deepen engagement with customers to drive revenue.

Competing. Competitors now occupy every corner of the globe. They're swamping customers with offers, allowing them to choose from a slew of knockoffs that are on catching up with what used to be considered best-in-class.

Leading companies are thinking differently. Companies like WALCO is working to strike a balance between efficiency (cost control) and effectiveness (revenue gains) when designing and delivering premium customer experiences.

MCA II Double Column Machining Center

All MCV-AII double column machining centers come with an OSP-E100M control featuring 32 bit architecture as standard. The control and software are designed and built by Okuma for a coordinated union of machine and control. The control of three-axis is standard: X Axis (table cross movement), Y Axis (spindle head left and right movement), and Z Axis (quill vertical movement). An automatic tool changer (ATC) with 24 tool capacity is mounted on the side of the spindle head and moves with the spindle head allowing tool changes anywhere over the table. It offers fully automatic cycles by programmed command. With the addition of an Automatic Pallet Changer (APC), MOP Tool for cutting tool monitoring, Automatic Gauging, and Automatic Zero Offset non-stop untended operation is possible. Also available is Hi²NC which offers high speed NC processing with tolerance control to enable smooth axis feeds for 3-D shape machining.
