P&C Donation- School Magazines We would like to say a big THANK YOU to the P&C for offering to subsidise the cost of our students in years 3-6 to have their own School Magazine subscriptions next year. We have several students with severe allergies as well as fears of dogs and the safety of our students comes first. If you have become the carer of a new dog, we encourage kids to bring in a photo or send a photo or video to the teacher through Class Dojo so they can share their news, rather than the dog coming onto school grounds. CARES Bike Safety Excursion On Tuesday, students from Stage 2 and 3 had the opportunity to enjoy the marvellous weather in Palmdale at the C.A.R.E.S bike safety program. Anticipated students sat through a brief presentation on bike safety rules and regulations before heading back out into the sunshine to begin some practical training. After lunch, the eager Wadalba kids were put to the test in free time! The traffic lights came on and the demerit system was put in place! With a few missing indicators and moments of rushing to beat the pedestrians, the police officers (and police teachers) began to pull individuals over and take demerit points for road offences. Overall, it was a great day filled with learning and smiles.

Bright Sparks Newsletter Entry Last Wednesday Stage 3 students had a visit from the Bright Sparks Energy Trailer to complement their science unit on Electricity. The students were involved in a number of experiments relating to energy. They had the opportunity to measure temperature, light and wind speed. The students particularly enjoyed riding the energy bike to create energy that lit up the light board.

Music Count Us In On Thursday our primary students participated in the 10th 'Count Us In' music celebration. Over 600,000 students from more than 2500 school simultaneously sang 'Let it play'.
