We strive to raise functional bulls that will meet our customers’ expectations; they need to work in both yourprogram and ours. We continue to use top sires on a powerful female base, the kind of cattle that will flourishin our environment and yours. We have the largest herd in Canada of dark red Gelbvieh backed up bygenerations of dark red genetics. The dark red cattle are a desirable trait that has become well sought after byboth purebred and commercial producers. Towerview Ranch compliments our program with their stout set ofblack bulls that are certainly worth your appraisal

The sale offering from V&V Farms and Towerview Ranch should have the widest genetic selection all in onelocation thanks to AI sires, exceptional walking bulls, and embryo transplants from some of the most elitedams in the industry. This sale offering will positively influence the beef industry seed stock producers andcommercial cattlemen alike.

We at V & V still continue to have a strict herd health program. Bulls on offer will be semen tested as well asvaccinated for the prevention of foot rot. They have been on a grow ration of two thirds oats and one thirdbarley which will add to their longevity.

Welcome to the 12TH ANNUAL V & V Farms Gelbvieh Bull & Female Sale. This is an exciting time to be a cow-calf producer in this greatindustry. The cattlemen that had the courage and conviction to stick with this proven industry are now reaping the results. The fall calf runwas awesome with cattlemen receiving excellent dollars for their calves. With the shortage of beef in the world we are sure to see excellentprices for many more years.

V & V Farms, Vern and Vivienne Pancoast, along with their neighbours and guest consignor, Towerview Ranch, Gary and Judy Pahl, continuedto improve on the powerful foundation of their cow herds. There is a stout set of yearling bulls in this sale that carry some of the best geneticsin the breed; the kind of genetics that will add value to both purebred and commercial breeding programs. V & V Farms had the honour ofshowing the Reserve Grand Champion Bull in Regina at the 2012 Canadian National Show. These two programs are on the leading edge.

All sale cattle are DNA parentage verified; all open heifers have been palpated and of course there will once again be free delivery after thesale.

Bull Breeding GuaranteeAll guarantees are between the buyer and the seller.All bulls offered and sold, except calves at side, are guaranteed breeders irrespective of age. All bulls after reaching the age of 15 months must becapable of settling 7 head or 75% of the eligible normal healthy breeding age females he is running with for a 90 day period, whichever is the lesser.

No guarantee regarding the freezing ability of a bull’s semen is made or implied in the sale of a bull unless covered specifically in a written contract.

In the case of a complaint regarding a bull’s breeding guarantee the buyer wishes to enforce the provisions of the Code shall report the same in writingto the seller enclosing a report prepared by a licensed veterinarian within 6 months of purchase or the time the bull reaches the age of 15 monthswhichever occurs later. The bull shall be returned to the seller at the buyer’s expense. The seller may replace the bull with a bull of equal quality orrefund the purchaser’s price of the bull or he may attempt to prove the bull a breeder under the terms of this clause within 6 months. If the bull isproven to be a breeder within the 6 months provided he shall be returned by the seller to the buyer and the buyer’s expense.
