We strive to raise functional bulls that will meet our customers expectations; they need to work in bothyour program and ours. We continue to use top sires on a powerful female base, the kind of cattle thatwill flourish in our environment and yours. We have the largest herd in Canada of dark red Gelbviehbacked up by generations of dark red genetics. The dark red cattle are a desirable trait that has becomewell sought after by both purebred and commercial producers. Towerview Ranch compliments our programwith their stout set of black bulls that are certainly worth your appraisal.

The sale offering from V&V Farms and Towerview Ranch should have the widest genetic selection all in one location thanks to AI sires,exceptional walking bulls, and embryo transplants from some of the most elite dams in the industry. This sale offering will positively influencethe beef industry - seed stock producers and commercial cattlemen alike.

We at V & V still continue to have a strict herd health program. Bulls on offer will be semen tested as well as vaccinated for the preventionof foot rot. They have been on a grow ration of two thirds oats and one third barley which will add to their longevity.

Welcome to the 11th Annual V & V Farms Gelbvieh Bull & Female Sale. This is an exciting time to be a cow-calf producer in this greatindustry. The cattlemen that had the courage and conviction to stick with this proven industry are now reaping the results. The fall calf runwas awesome with cattlemen receiving excellent dollars for their calves. Since the first of the year cattle prices have continued to climb. Withthe shortage of beef in the world we are sure to see excellent prices for many more years. It is about time!

V & V Farms, Vern and Vivienne Pancoast, along with their neighbours and guest consignor, Towerview Ranch, Gary and Judy Pahl, havefought through the tough years by continuing to improve on the powerful foundation of their cow herds. There is a stout set of yearlingbulls in this sale that carry some of the best genetics in the breed; the kind of genetics that will add value to both purebred and commercialbreeding programs.

All sale cattle are DNA parentage verified; all open heifers have been palpated and of course there will once again be free delivery after thesale.

Bull Breeding GuaranteeAll guarantees are between the buyer and the seller.All bulls offered and sold, except calves at side, are guaranteed breeders irrespective of age. All bulls after reaching the age of 15 months must be capa-ble of settling 7 head or 75% of the eligible normal healthy breeding age females he is running with for a 90 day period, whichever is the lesser.

No guarantee regarding the freezing ability of a bull’s semen is made or implied in the sale of a bull unless covered specifically in a written contract.

In the case of a complaint regarding a bull’s breeding guarantee the buyer wishes to enforce the provisions of the Code shall report the same in writingto the seller enclosing a report prepared by a licensed veterinarian within 6 months of purchase or the time the bull reaches the age of 15 monthswhichever occurs later. The bull shall be returned to the seller at the buyer’s expense. The seller may replace the bull with a bull of equal quality or re-fund the purchaser’s price of the bull or he may attempt to prove the bull a breeder under the terms of this clause within 6 months. If the bull isproven to be a breeder within the 6 months provided he shall be returned by the seller to the buyer and the buyer’s expense. If he is not proven to bea breeder then replacement or at the option of a seller a refund is mandatory. Under no circumstances will a seller be liable for more than the pur-chase price of the animal sold.
