Scenic Skyride LocationsMOUNTAINTOP CEREMONYTake a scenic gondola ride to your picturesque mountaintop ceremony. With stunning views of the Adirondacks in every direction, let nature provide the decor for your special day.

Exclusive: Select a date when the mountain is closed to public and indulge yourself and guests with a private lift ride and mountaintop ceremony. From $2000.

Public:Non-private lift access to your one-of-a-kind ceremony location for you and your guests. $20 per person.

THE LOOKOUT AT SADDLE LODGE CEREMONY & RECEPTIONExperience being one with nature in an open-air skyride on our Adirondack Express 4-person quad chairlift on your way up to exchange vows. This outdoor ceremony location offers magnificent views of the High Peaks and surrounding area. Once you have said ‘I do” move inside the newly renovated Saddle Lodge for a memorable cocktail hour.

Lift fees and room rentals vary depending on the season and operating schedule.

Lower Mountain LocationsTHE TANNERY BANQUET ROOMWith vaulted ceilings and large windows, this cocktail hour and reception location offers slopeside views with mixed seating that can accommodate up to 260 guests.

SLOPESIDE PATIO AND LAWN RECEPTIONSituated off the Base Lodge this location offers views of the foothills of Bear Mountain and the Northwoods Gondola. Perfect for gatherings as large as two hundred or as intimate as just the two of you. The lawn is perfect for large tents, dance floor, etc.

Questions and AnswersHow do I hold a date? Our Wedding Sales Manager will issue a Letter of Intent once your date has been selected. Once the contract is issued a $1,500 non-refundable deposit is due and a deposit schedule is calculated, with all monies for the event due 30 days prior to your special day.

What if the weather does not cooperate for my mountaintop ceremony? We like to think that the sun always shines for Gore Mountain, however we always hold a backup space indoors on the occasion that it does not. We will also try our very best to accommodate minor timeline changes in hopes of getting your ‘I dos’ overlooking the mountains.

Do you require use of a planner or coordinator? No, however, we do recommend a day-of coordinator if you have not appointed someone from your wedding party to handle place card, centerpieces, favors, seating charts and other day-of set up. Please keep in mind that the wedding party is responsible for all set up and tear down of your personal items.

Is there a time limit for the wedding reception? Our wedding packages are built around a 4-hour timeframe. Additional time can be added to your rental, please ask your sales manager about extending or adding a late night event.

What is the maximum number the venue can hold? The Tannery Banquet Room can accommodate up to 250 people with a sit-down menu and dance floor. In addition, we have alternate venues that can service 25-300 people.

Would we be able to have a rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, and brunch here?Yes! We have so many possible locations for each event here and we would be happy to help you find the right one for any type of occasion!

Is there an additional rental fee? Our wedding packages are inclusive of taxes, service charges and reception room rentals. Fees for an on-site ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding breakfast would be additional.

Vendor InformationOn-Site Catering:We do not allow the use of any outside food and beverage at our property, with the exception of your weding cake. If you choose to bring a cake prepared elsewhere, we require a signed waiver in order for it to be served.

All food and beverage pricing is inclusive of a taxable 21% administrative fee, and all taxes. Under federal law, a service charge cannot be a tip. We are required to disclose that the service charge is not a tip and will be retained by the catering service team of Centerplate. In the case of exceptional service, please feel free to add a tip.

Vendor load in, set up and tear down: All vendors are required to provide proof of insurance meeting our guidelines (please ask your sales manager for a copy of our insurance requirements). Once a copy of insurance has been provided vendors will need to coordinate set up and tear down times with our onsite Centerplate catering team. A fee will be incurred should any items not be picked during the pre-established designated time.

Services not provided by the venue include but are not limited to: Entertainment, Florist/Decorator, Photographer/Videographer and Officiant.
