How do you handle badhair days?
I get hair treatments at Sta-tus Salon every once in a whilebecause my hair is bugbog withdaily hairstyling for “It’s Show-time.” My hair is kept at itshealthiest with these treat-ments, like Argan Oil therapy.
What’s the best and tough-est parts of being married?
Cleaning! It’s just the two ofus so there’s a lot of chores todo each day. That was thebiggest challenge for me.
What’s the craziest thingthat you and Yael have donetogether?
Yael loves Disneyland, sonaturally we went there for ourhoneymoon—Disneyland Paris.For our first anniversary, wewent to Hong Kong Disneyland.That HK trip was a really shortone. We went hiking with afriend who is based there,Rosemary Vandenbrouke from“The Kitchen Musical.” She tookus to Tai Long Wan.
Anything new that youlearned about Yael?
He’s not fussy, and he’s verypatient. So, when I make littlemistakes or when I’m late, he’s
chill. When he’s stressed withwork, I’m able to calm himdown. We have a nice balance.
I also learned that he enjoyschallenging me to write moreand express myself. He writesnew songs every day. He maynot finish all of them, but he al-ways comes up with somethingnew.
In what ways are you like,or different from, your mom(Zsa Zsa Padilla)?
Mama is so generous andgiving. I am quite stingy. I guesswe express our love differently,but we are both very thought-ful.
What’s your song for your-self and what’s your song forYael?
I have yet to write a song formyself. But Good to Me fromRoadtrip comes close to who Iwas a couple of years ago. Agirl learning to love herself. Butso many things have changedsince then.
For Yael, it’s my new song,which will come out this sum-mer. Can’t Shut Up. I wrote itfor Yael on our anniversary asboyfriend-girlfriend. If you’veever spoken to him you will un-derstand why!
What do you think of yourmom’s beau, Conrad Onglao?
Tito Con is a great guy. He’sa family man; he cooks so well.His specialty is crabs. He’s sosweet because when he foundout that my fave kid in ChildHaus (shelter for young cancerpatients), Blessie, wasn’t eat-ing, he sent her his specialty.That made her very happy.
If they tie the knot, whatwould you tell him before thewedding day?
I always hang out with them,usually casually and unan-nounced, to get to know themas a couple. Those are my third-wheel moments!
I like that my mom is veryhappy; she’s blooming. Peoplecan’t stop telling me how beau-tiful she is. I have to agree.They are so chill together. Theygo jogging or to the market.
Sometimes, I have dinnerwith them or just hang out for along time! I like to take stolenshots of them being malamb-ing…if anyone wants to buythem, just call me. I’m kidding.

BELIEVE it or not, as great asTalk ‘N Text played to get to thePBA Commissioner’s Cup Finalsagainst Rain or Shine, ElastoPainters coach Yeng Guiao believesthat this is the time the TropangTexters are most beatable.
Two nights after the Textersbundled out defending champi-on Purefoods with a 3-1 FinalFour victory, Guiao said he be-lieves that Talk ‘N Text is still in
a transition in the post-JimmyAlapag era.
“Once that transition is com-plete, Talk ‘N Text will be nearlyinvincible,” Guiao said duringthe pre-Finals press conferenceyesterday at Sambukojin inEastwood City, Libis. “We feelthat now is the best time tobeat them.”
