I found that the floor work where we did the scrunch, stretch and shake very useful as I found that

this really relaxed my body and let any tensions go that I was having. I also like that fact my body

would become so much more looser and make me feel much more relaxed so doing the other work

would become a lot easier for me. A question that does strike me is the fact that how doing these

simple three factors can make your body so much less tense and your body really go into the floor it

really does make me think more.

Movement of the Transverse abdominus exercise was very good for helping me with my breathing

ad helped me concentrate more on getting more air into the stomach and showed me about how

gravity can differentiate the movement of the stomach and how this affects our breathing. I am

struggling with this ever so slightly with the fact that my breath can be quite rigid and I do feel that

that I am struggling with this. I did find that when doing the “Z” sound that my breath would be

more out of control than usual and also when doing the “N” sound was quite tricky for me and made

me ask myself why this was so difficult in comparison to the other sounds and just normal breathing.

One question that does keep popping into my head when I am doing this exercise is how can I

change my breathing to go with gravity as I am unsure of how gravity pulls my stomach down when

on all fours but then when I am lying down my stomach is going towards my spine more so I feel like

I need to find out the correct adjustments of these in order to be doing the exercise correctly to get

full benefits.

When doing roll downs I found that my breathing was a lot more looser than normal maybe this was

because of the spine folding over I am not too sure. I found that doing it to a “hum” made it easier

to keep my breathe under control.
