• Management committee of Super Shine Thai Ltd. Faces an
unrelenting threat from Pollution Control Department (PCD).
• Their industrial license will be cancelled within two months unless its
wastewater meets Industrial Wastewater Discharge (IWD) discharge
standards, i.e. ‘Electroplating shop has to be closed down within a
period of two months’.
• Management committee in panic situation and calls for their senior
staff consisting of;
Chief Executive Officer, Plant Manager, Environmental Manager,
Chief Engineer, Veteran Electroplater, Utility and Energy Manager
– They were given three days to solve the problem: This is the
