ABOUT THE PROJECT

On our last project We love sports, we determined that the refugee crisis presents a major problem which can be solved through sport. The refugee crisis is among the citizens of the European Union brought increased uncertainty and prejudices among the locals, who deal with refugees and migrants. The society is becoming increasingly impatient with "different".

The aim of the project is to promote within organizations and community specific activities to integrate young people from minorities into society by promoting and raising awareness about social cohesion, tolerance, diversity, solidarity, intercultural dialogue and the same time the fight against discrimination, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and any form of exclusion .

Specific objectives of the project:- Raising awareness about ethnic discrimination and racism in sport and the fight against social exclusion in sports clubs and societies;- Create a framework for interaction and discussion between young people and encourage them to maintain a healthy lifestyle by providing the necessary tools for the detection of ideas that are necessary for a healthy diet and sports activity in the fresh air;- Increase young people's knowledge about minority rights held by minority and human rights in general;- Address the challenges and breach of minorities and intercultural and interreligious dialogue, which we encounter in society is also reflected in sport;- The promotion of social cohesion and integration in Europe by addressing the issue of social exclusion;- Promote the awareness and commitment of young people to address these issues.

The project, which builds on a previous project We love sports in which young people learn about ways to integrate through sport, will involve 40 young people aged between 18-29 years and five youth leaders from Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia. In 8 days we will know the stereotypes, prejudices, healthy lifestyle (diet and exercise) in sport and looking for solutions in the sport for the problems that arise in society.

The methodology for project activities based on non-formal education, experiential and intercultural learning. The methodology is focused on the participants and provide participants time and space to share their ideas and knowledge and sharing their contributions, as well as to learn from each other. Through the workshops will be the young people have an impact on awareness raising consciousness about how some minority groups of individuals socially excluded on the basis of their status choices in life or belief and in order to encourage young people to stand up against discrimination, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and social exclusion . After an exchange of young people will be involved in the exchange, as promoters of sport without exclusion, through sports organizations and sporting events, try to influence and change the attitude of the population towards minorities and vulnerable groups. The result will be ready video We love sports, but this is not part of it, the logo, a banner with the slogan, which will be introduced in all countries of the sporting events included in the project. After the exchange, the partnership will come into contact with sports associations and invited them to disseminate the results (promotion banner of preventing intolerance), in schools, we present the video We love sports, but this is not part of it, so that the project will have a visible effect in all partner countries. For better dissemination of the results will also

prepare a web page on Facebook and official website for the promotion of the project, which will be published results. Arrangements will be made for visibility of Erasmus +. Participants in the project will become promoters of sport without exclusion.

WORKING METHODS

The methodology of the project will be non-formal education. Non-formal education is purposive but voluntary learning that takes place in a diverse range of environments and situations for which teaching/training and learning is not necessarily their sole or main activity. These environments and situations may be temporary, and the activities or courses that take place may be staffed by professional learning facilitators (such as youth trainers) or by volunteers (such as youth leaders). The activities and courses are planned, but are seldom structured by conventional rhythms or curriculum subjects. They usually address specific target groups, but rarely document or assess learning outcomes or achievements in conventionally visible ways.

COMMUNICATION

The common language for all participants will be English and it doesn´t matter what level of language you hav, because every way of communication is useful in this project to create a feeling with each other.

YOUTHPASS

Every participant will receive a Youthpass Certificate which confirms participation and validates the non-formal learning (NFL) experience of the Youth Exchange project. Youthpass is a European recognition tool for non-formal and informal learning in youth work.Youthpass is available for projects funded by Erasmus+ Youth in Action and Youth in Action programmes. With Youthpass the participants of these projects can describe what they have done and show what they have learnt. Through Youthpass the European Commission ensures the Youth Exchange activity is recognised as a non-formal learning experience. For more information on Youthpass you may wish to visit http://www.youthpass.eu.

During the project will be an interculturalevening when you will have the opportunity to share something about your culture with others. You can use several ways to introduce your country, region or organization. In fact you can presen music, pictures, videos, power point files.
