DAY 1

DANANG ARRIVALTransfer to Hoi An

On arrival at Danang International Airport, your guide from Trails of Indochina will welcome and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest or explore.

DAY 3

HOI AN At Your Leisure

Today is at leisure to explore the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An on your own. Sip a cup of Vietnamese coffee or browse the local shops for crafts and souvenirs. Alternatively, join Peter who, with a guide and transport at his disposal, will show you what he loves about Hoi An. Lunch and dinner are on your own account.

DAY 2

HOI ANTaste of Hoi An

In the morning, join Peter for a private group tour – The Taste of Hoi An. Take a walk around town to try various local foods and sample more dishes bought in from your tour route at a private tasting venue. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

HOI ANThanh Ha Pottery Village

Enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Thu Bon River to the pottery village of Thanh Ha, which used to supply the materials for buildings in Hoi An’s Ancient Town, to learn about this traditional craft, chat with the villagers and try your hand at making a handicraft.

In the evening, farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Your guide will escort the group from your accommodation to Danang International Airport for your departure flight.

HOI ANMy Son Sanctuary

My Son is a unique Hindu sanctuary located in central Vietnam. Once the capital of the Champa Kingdom from the 2nd to 13th centuries AD, the site now contains over 20 structures of brick and stone set in a verdant jungle valley surrounded by hills and overlooked by massive Cat’s Tooth Mountain. Stroll around the temple complex and learn about the fascinating Cham culture, architecture and civilization. If time permits, visit the woodworking village on the way back to Hoi An.

Terms & Conditions: To place a booking, a $330 per person non-refundable deposit is required - balance payments per Travel Managers invoices will be due 90 days before travel commences. Group tour prices are based on a minimum of ten paying travellers – pre or post add-on modules are availabale with prices based on a minimum of two persosn (see separate flyers). Single supplement prices apply to any person seeking a private room. Tour prices include a fixed sum to be donated to the work of Change The One - additional personal donations would be gratefully accepted and passed on. We reserve the right to alter the tour price at anytime before final payments should the exchange rate drop below AUD:USD of 1:0.76. Cancellations: Cancellation conditions apply to deposited bookings as follows: Up to 90 days before travel commences - the deposit and any pre-booked airline cancellation fees; from 90 days to 45 days prior to departure - 60% of land costs plus airline any cancellation fees; from 45 days to 10 days prior to scheduled departure - 80% of land costs plus any airline cancellation fees; after ten days before scheduled departure - 100% of land costs and any airline cancellation fees; No shows - 100% cancellation fees apply.

Change The One is a simple vision of its founder, Peter Nicholls, that came about when inspecting the devastation of a Tsunami in Papua New Guinea back in 1997. An encounter with a group of children amidst this devastation made Peter realise that he did not need to change the world – he only needed to Change The One. Commencing with work in Papua New Guinea, the volunteer work has now been extended to Vietnam. Every Vietnam tour booking secured through the programs offered herein will release funds to Change The One.
