Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check in. The group will have a short tour briefing in the hotel lobby at 4PM. Enjoy some leisure time before joining for dinner to try Vietnamese Cuisine.

Day 2. Mekong Delta Discovery: My Tho Island [Overnight in Saigon ]

Discover the Mekong River, essential toVietnamese life.

You'll transfer to the remote My Tho.

This burgeoning capital rests in the MekongDelta and is surrounded by beautiful countrysideknown as the "rice basket of Vietnam". Firstyou'll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which isdecorated with mosaics made from brokenpottery. Overlooked by a tall white Buddha, it isset amongst lovely gardens packed withflowers, shrubs, lotus pools and tombs and ornate gates which provide entry.

Next, you'll take a boat ride along the river to view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages.

After lunch, you'll visit An Khanh, a small village that specializes in fruit orchards and coconut sweets. If time permits, you can take a short cycling trip through the island.

Then enjoy seasonal fruit, honey tea, and delicious coconut candies all to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. After the tour is finished, you'll return to Saigon. The evening is at your leisure.

Transfer to Saigon pier to take a 2-hour cruise on a traditional junk and enjoy adelightful evening dinner. You will be greeted bythe captain and crew once you board the junk.Relax on the upper deck and enjoy thepanoramic view of the city lights. Enjoy severaltraditional dishes, including rice flower pancakesBanh Xeo or pork pineapple skewers made onthe BBQ grill for dinner. Be welcomed toVietnam with a live traditional music show and dance during the meal.

Day 3. Flight to Danang | Relax on the Beach [Overnight in Hoi An ]

Flights: Flight from Saigon to Danang will be arranged by us and is included in the price.

Transfer by flight in the morning to Danang. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you and continue to hotel for check in. Then have lunch at a restaurant nearby.

In the late afternoon, you'll visit Hoi An AncientTown. This town features the 16th century HoiAn port town in it's preserved state. You'll startthe day visiting the Museum of Trade Ceramics.This museum houses art and pottery datingfrom the 1,500s to the 1,700s.

Then you'll briefly visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, atemple from the 17th century which featuresChina's influence in the region. You'll continuethrough the Ancient Town as the streets take ona magic of their own with old lanterns, French-style houses, intricately carved wooden doors and more. You'll take a stroll through the OldTam Ky House to see it's imperial styles meshed with French overtures. Continue on to stroll along the river and see traditional boats and locals on bicycles passing by. You'll then approach the Japanese Covered Bridge. This bridge has connected the Chinese and Japanese sides of town over the waterway for centuries. The old wooden structure has shown amazing resilience for more than 400 years.

At dusk, enjoy walking along the riverside as old colorful lanterns light up the town. Then have dinner at a restaurant near the Thu Bon River. Return to the hotel.

Today you'll explore the My Son Holy Land, aUNESCO Heritage site and Vietnam's mostimportant Cham site.

In the morning, your tour guide and driver willescort you from your hotel to the My Son HolyLand. Tucked in the mountains up winding roadswith serene views lay the 4th century My SonHoly Land ruins. The ruins lay in a beautifulsurrounding mountainous landscape. You'llenter the temples while your tour guide givesyou the history and stories of the Cham and the site.

Return to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon, go to Danang to visit the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture. Finish the day with visiting Marble Mountain, an important ancient religious site. Climb the steps up to the cave temple for some splendid views.

Evening, have dinner back in Hoi An.

Day 6. Leisure on the Beach | Flight to Hanoi [Overnight in Hanoi ]

Morning is at leisure to enjoy the beach or Hoi An Ancient Town one last time. Have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll transfer by flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you andtransfer to hotel.

The evening will start with a Water PuppetShow performed by the world renowned ThangLong Opera House. This performance features atalent unique to Vietnam. You'll watch as waterpuppets perform the folklore legends ofVietnam while live ethnic music sets the mood.After the show, you’ll enjoy traditionalVietnamese cuisine at Home Restaurant – ahistoric French colonial residence restored inbetween the Old Quarter and the serene WestLake. Once you finish your dinner, you'll beescorted to your hotel.

Day 8. Emerald Halong Bay with Cruise by Paloma [Overnight in Halong Bay ]

Flights: Flight from Halong Bay to Halong Bay will be arranged by us and is included in the price.

In the morning, transfer to Halong Bay with the guide. On arrival, enjoy a fun scenic seaplane ride over the bay to get a preview. Embark on the cruise around noon. Have welcome drinks and receive cruise safety briefing. Check in cabin and start the cruise.

13.30 Have a delicious Vietnamese set menu in the panoramic restaurant while emerald isles slip by. Head to Bai Tu Long Bay. Pass the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Monster Head and Teapot Islets and Thien Canh Son Cave. Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.

After the exploration of the cave, enjoy swimming and kayaking activities in the blue ocean. As dusk settles, drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by islets in Cong Dam. Then have dinner on board.After dinner, relax or join activities on the boat: film entertainment, light music for dancing, or squid fishing with the staff(seasonal). Overnight aboard Paloma Cruise.

Day 9. Bai Tu Long Bay with Cruise by Paloma [Overnight in Halong Bay ]

Wake up with the sun rise and enjoy Tai Chi lessons on the sundeck. Then enjoy a buffet breakfast.

Transfer to the smaller boat and start cruising to admire the great beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Visit Cong Dam Area - Deep into Bai Tu Long Bay, the area is full of the famous hidden lagoons covered by majestic limestone islands and islets with untouched beaches.

Then experience guided kayaking and swimming at Geological park in Cong Dam or Vung Ha area (depending on the weather and tide levels), a pristine natural beach lapped by the turquoise water.

BBQ lunch served on the beach (depends on the weather or tide levels).

14:00: Continue to discover Master Cave - one of the largest & well-hidden caves in Bai Tu Long Bay.

After, cruise back to the bay for a second overnight anchorage near Cong Do areas.

Have dinner on board.

Relax or join the on board activities: film entertainment, light music for dancing or squid fishing with the staff. Overnight aboard Paloma Cruise.

Day 10. Halong Bay | Return to Hanoi [Overnight in Hanoi ]

Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served.Then have breakfast.

Next, visit the Vung Vieng floating fishing village by bamboo sampan. Visit a pearl farm to learn how natural pearls are grown and harvested. Then return to Paloma Cruise for leisure time. Check out of cabin around 10AM and then enjoy lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.

During the evening, have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11. Hanoi Highlights | Departure

In the morning, you'll be escorted to see the Tran Quoc Pagoda. This 1,400 year old templefeatures ten tiers surrounded by gardens andwhich also hosts a bodhi tree grown from acutting of the original Buddhist tree under whichBuddha sat. Next, you'll take a stroll around theHoan Kiem Lake where you can see the Tortoise Tower sitting on the water. Then you'llenjoy a half hour cyclo tour through the OldQuarter in Hanoi. The cyclo is a historic mode oftransportation in the cities of Vietnam where acyclist escorts you while you sit in a seat affixedto the front with a canopy over top. Next, you'll visit the One Pillar Pagoda - a pagoda situated on a pillar made of a single stone, in the middle of a lotus pond. This pagoda was built by a 9th century emperor who saw it in a dream and regarded this as divine inspiration to recreate the structure in the vision.

You'll pass by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before visiting the highlight of this tour - The Temple of Literature. This ancient university was erected almost a millennium ago and has hosted many of the most prominent scholars through Vietnamese history. The site

Luggage: Tour is quoted based on each person carrying a maximum of 20kg/1pc checked in luggage and 5kg carry on.

Group Size: 6 – 16 people

Minimum 90-Day Guaranteed Departure Confirmation: Departures are confirmed when six(6) or more travelers are reserved for a departure date. Luxe Voyage Asia reserves the right to cancel a tour due to low occupancy. In the event of a canceled departure due to not meeting this threshold, we will inform you at least ninety(90) days prior to the tour start date for tours starting after October 1, 2017 and at least sixty(60) days prior to the tour start date for tours from March 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017. You will then be given the option to apply the deposit toward another departure, toward a private tour or receive full refund of the deposited amount.

Accommodations: Accommodations as listed will be reserved. In most cases, we will not need to change the accommodation. However, on some occasions we may need to change some of the

hotels listed. Some of the reasons why this may happen are as follows: the hotel ownership or management changed and we have reason to believe the hotels service will not be to our expectations; due to human error from the hotel or company reservations resulting in not enough rooms being available; due to the hotel committing to a larger group event(i.e. Wedding or government event) and canceling our reservation; due a hotel property being damaged in a fire or earthquake, etc.
