visit some remarkable ancient Vietnamese

architectural sites in Hai Phong.. Du Hang

pagoda, the center of Buddhism in Hai Phong, is

a very pure and graceful temple that was built in

17th century. Hang Kenh Pavillon, famous for its

wooden bas-relieves, sculptures and special boat-

shaped interior, is dedicated to the Vietnamese

hero Ngo Quyen who lived in 10th century and

considered as the Communal House of the

Kenh village in the old time. You will visit

further Hai Phong’s attractions: City

Cathedral, Nghe temple, Ga market. After

finish the trip, we will take you back to your

Drive to Ha Long pier and board the traditional

junk for cruising the bay. Enjoy the beauty of the

Bay with famous sites, such as: Fighting cock's

Thien Cung cave with a round walking to visit

Drive to Hanoi and then have an overall view of

the capital by a “cyclo” visit, which will start

around the Old Quarter, the historic heart of

Hanoi, stop at Ngoc Son Temple, which was

founded in 18th century, is on an island of the

northern of Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake).

This temple is a meditative spot for relax, but

also worth checking out for embalmed remains of

a gigantic tortoise of species said to till inhabit

the lake. And then you will visit Quan Thanh

Taoist Temple. Late afternoon we will enjoy a

unique fascinating show of Water Puppetry,

a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam.

After the trip, we will take you back to your

cruise ship in Hai Phong port for your

HAI PHONG PORT

Unlike its two neighboring sites of Halong and Cat Ba, Hai Phong attracts less tourists unless, of course, they arrive in Northern Vietnam by sea. Nonetheless, this seaport city has many charming architectural buildings which were evidently influenced by the early 20

th century French colonial style. The old French regime

invested a lot of money to build this seaport attraction. Visiting Hai Phong is an exciting experience. You can go to the city to different ways. You can go there by crossing on the Cam River Ferry, you can reach the city overland from Halong Bay or you can take it will and run along the coast of Vietnam for 12 kilometers either from Halong or Cat Ba Island. Both sea ways offer wonderful views with plenty of islands along the Halong and Cat Ba archipelago.

CAI LAN PORT-HALONG BAY

Local myth has it that Halong Bay was formed by a dragon that fled from the

mountains to the coast during which its tail carved out the earth, creating

waterways and 3,000 islands. Halong means ‘where the dragon descends into the

sea’. This incredibly beautiful bay can be visited from either Bai Chay or Hong Gai

by boat. Once out and in the bay, the vistas are stunning. Many of the outcrops

are diddled with grottoes, some of which your guide will take you into for a look

around. One of the caves you may visit is the Dau Go grotto which is full of

stalactites and stalagmites. Grottoes that are worth visiting in Halong Bay are Bo

Nau, Trinh Nu, Thien Cung ... You may stop at a quiet small bay to have a

swimming on your own ....


HUE EXCURSION Tour Code: SE-CM 01

King Tu Duc Temple

Duration: approximately 8 hours

Itinerary: You are welcomed at Chan May port


and drive through northward to Hue. Today you

will spend the day in Hue, the former capital of

Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty of emperors

from 1802 till 1945. We start the visit to the

Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen emperors

once ruled Vietnam. The construction of citadel

was commenced in 1801 by Emperor Gia Long

and was altered and improved upon a number

of following Emperors. We continue to visit

Thien Mu pagoda, Hue's most preserved

religious monument standing on the riverbank

with its seven-floor tower. You will further

visit King Tu Duc's tomb or King Minh

Mang tomb (typical formal oriental style

designed). Latest 04:20 pm you will have to

drive back to the port for your departure.


HUE -THE OLD CAPITAL Tour Code : SE-CM 03

The Imperial City




and drive through northward to Hue. You will

spend all day for discovering Vietnam’s old

capital under the Nguyen Dynasty of emperors

from 1802 till 1945. We start the tour by visiting

Royal Palace. And then moving to the southwest

bank of the Perfume River, you will visit Thien

Mu pagoda, which was the home of Buddhist

monk Thich Quang Duc, who burnt himself to

death in protest to the Ngo Dinh Diem regime.

At noon, you will visit Tomb of Tu Duc, who

was Tu Duc was the Emperor of Vietnam from

1848 to 1883. He is regarded as one of the

more decadent cruel Vietnamese Emperors.

You will also visit Conical hat Village which is

renowned for Phu Cam conical hat having not

only a beautiful form but also modest color.


CHARMING PERFUME RIVER Tour Code: SE-CM 04

Boat trip on charming Perfume River




and drive through northward to Hue. With

Charming Perfume River tour, you will not

only have a chance to learn about Vietnam

historic city – Hue but also take relax by rowing

leisurely in Perfume River (Huong River). You

will start the visit with Royal Palace and then

Thien Mu pagoda, which was the home of

Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc, who burnt

CHAN MAY PORT - HUE

Prior to WWII, Hue had been the capital of Vietnam and the residents of this city

act as if Hue still is. The city has a long and distinguished history. During the Tet

Offensive in 1968 the North Vietnamese flag flew from the citadel flag pole for 25

days. When the Americans returned to re-take the city, Hue was virtually

destroyed in over ten days of terrible conflicts. The film "Full metal jacket" has

much of the major fighting set in Hue, and accurately represents just how

completely devastated the city was. It is estimated that over 10,000 people were

killed during this battle including thousands of people rounded up by the North

Vietnamese as ‘undesirables’ and shot or buried alive. The city has now been

mainly rebuilt and no real signs of the Tet Offensive remain except for the virtual

destruction of the Imperial city.


HOIAN EXCURSION Tour Code: SE-CM 05

Explore Hoian Ancient Town




Drive to Hoian (110km) and then explore Hoian

charming town. Hoian Ancient Town is an

exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-

East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to

the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan

reflect the influences, both indigenous and

foreign, that have combined to produce this

unique heritage site. You will have opportunity to

visit tailors at which you can have your dress

made within hours. Late afternoon you will

visit Marble Mountains, consisting five

marble out-crop that was once island. With its

natural beauty and picturesque scene, Marble

Mountain is really worthy the climb. You also

visit Cham Museum before driving back the

port to check in cruise.

Hoi An ancient night




Drive to Hoian (110km) and then explore

peaceful inside of Hoi An. Hoi An Museum

contains a great number of historical relics which

reflects history and culture of Hoi An land. You

will also visit many of the Old Merchant

Houses are lived in by the locals, but fortunately

are beautifully preserved. They can be typically

described as having a narrow and lofty interior

with a barrel vault ceiling. Continue your tour by

visiting Phuoc Kien temple which is a

Chinese Community Hall, but has other uses as

a temple, shrine, place of ancestor worship,

and a venue for conferences. And then you will

visit Japanese Covered Bridge. Before

driving back the port to check in cruise, you

will have chance to walking around Hoi An

open market.

Drive to Da Nang and explore Da Nang

highlights. Cham Museum is the main attraction

of Da Nang. With the old sandstone building

houses an excellent collection of Cham art and

CHINA BEACH & MARBLE VILLAGE Tour Code: SE-CM 08

China Beach




You are welcomed at Chan May port with

procedure assistance to exit from the cruise.

Drive to Da Nang and then you will take relax at

China Beach, extends north and south of the

Marble Mountains and was made famous by the

war and a subsequent TV series bearing its name.

China Beach is within cycling distance of Da

Nang and due to this close proximity it was

used as an R&R destination for American

soldiers during the war. It is a long beach that

stretches all the way down to Cua Dai beach

at Hoi An. Before driving back to your cruise,

you will also take a short trip to Marble

Village, which is worth the trip with its natural

beauty and picturesque scene.

Covered Bridge

Duration: 08 hours

Itinerary: You are welcomed at Tien Sa port


Drive to Hoian (60 km). We will start the tour by

Visiting Marble Mountain which is famous for

stone sculpture making and stone-cutting crafts.

Direct rock extraction from the mountains was

banned recently. Materials are now being

transported from quarries in Quang Nam

province. Then explore Hoian charming town on

foot with Covered Bridge and Tan Ky House.

Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-

preserved example of a South-East Asian

trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th

TIEN SA PORT - DANANG

Da Nang marks the halfway point between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and was

the first place to organize its own local communist party committee. The city is

fairly featureless, and if you are coming from the tranquil setting of Lang Co, Hoi

An, or anywhere for that matter, Da Nang is an extreme disappointment. It is a

busy, dusty, colorless city, the fourth largest in Vietnam, and one of the largest

business centers. Unless you are in Da Nang for business, chances are you will

pass straight through. Da Nang does have a fascinating Cham Museum that

contains an excellent collection of Cham art. However, the main reason for staying

in Da Nang is in the surrounding region. China Beach, the Marble Mountains, Hoi

An and My Son are all within striking distance of Da mange, though it is more

pleasant to stay in Hoi An and visit these sights.

Harvesting Rice, Nha Trang

Duration: 08 hours

Itinerary: Welcome to Nhatrang, Vietnam’s

Mediterranean area. Our guide with whom you

will spend the day will pick you up. This morning

excursion will also take you to the countryside,

the outskirt of Nha Trang. Green rice paddies,

orchard and cattle and buffaloes at work... you

will meet rural people and find out how they earn

a living and see highlights and places such as a

charcoal stove (pottery) making house, a sedge

mat weaving village (You can try weaving), a

fish cake frying house, a bakery, a rice paper

steaming village, a conical hats making village,

a soy milk making house, and an ancient house

with a bonsai garden (180 years old; enjoy

fruits and green tea ). After lunch at the

riverside your guide will show you the

historical parts of Nha Trang with the finale of

NHA TRANG PORT

Nha Trang is the stunning capital of Khanh Hoa province. It is one of the nicest cities

in southern Vietnam, blessed with lovely beaches, nineteen beautiful surrounding

islands and great ice cream! Nha Trang is bound to be the first international resort

town in Vietnam, and there are rumors that a Club Med is to be built here. Nha

Trang already has large and expensive hotels built along the beachfront,

intermingled with old French villas. On days where it is too warm to cycle, take a

boat trip out to the islands for a day of snorkeling in turquoise waters and coral

reefs while savoring a fantastic seafood banquet for lunch, returning to town just in

time to wander down to the beach for a late afternoon beer of fruit shake.

Phu My port in Vung Tau. The transfer to Ho Chi

Minh City is app. 2.25 hrs. to its centre. Saigon is

not only sightseeing, but about street markets,

where bargains are struck and deals are done; the

pavement cafes, where stereo speakers fill the

surrounding streets with a melodious thumping

beat; and the sleek new cafes and pubs, where

tourists chat over beer, pretzels, coffee and

croissants. Today you will have a sightseeing tour

in Saigon which includes visits to the: Former

Presidential Palace, the Reunification

Vung Tau is the tourist and commercial center of Ba Ria – Vung Tau (an industrial province in Southeastern Vietnam). The whole city area lies on a peninsula which is separated from the mainland by a gulf river called Co May river.

CUCHI TUNELS EXCURSION Tour Code: SE-PM 04

Phu My port in Vung Tau.

It will be about a 2.25 hour drive to visit the

infamous Cu Chi Tunnels. Just 65 km (40 miles)

northwest of Saigon, the Cu Chi area lies at the

end of the Ho Chi Minh Trail and was the base

from which Ho Chi Minh guerillas used to attack

Saigon. As a result the whole area became a "free

fire zone" and was carpet-bombed in one of many

American "scorched-earth" policies. But the

residents of Cu Chi took their war underground,

literally, developing a network of tunnels that, at

its height, stretched as far as Cambodia and

included meeting rooms, kitchens, and triage

areas - an effective network for waging guerilla

warfare on nearby U.S. troops. The U.S.

Army's 25th Infantry Division was just next

door, and there are detailed maps denoting land

that was either U.S.-held, Vietminh-held, or in

dispute. The sight supports a small museum of

photos and artifacts, as well as an extensive

outdoor exhibit of guerilla snares and

reconstructions of the original tunnels and

bunkers. Wear your "play clothes" if you

choose to get down in the tunnels; the

experience is dusty and claustrophobic. Latest

Trang pagoda, which is an ancient southern

architectural gem in Tien Giang Province, bring

people in Mekong. Then, take motored-boat ride

along Mekong river, you will farther visit Thoi

Son island Mekong Village, Farmer-houses,

Candy factory, Honey farm, boat trip along
