The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and we are acoupleweeks away from smelling the roses! This is one of the mostimportanttimes of year for our high school students; coursesare coming to an end,assessments are plenty, and exams areright around the corner. It is time tolook within and light the firein order to ensure a successful completion ofthe school year. Iurge our high school students to begin preparing forfinalexams and to take advantage of before and after schoolassistance from ourteachers in order to best prepare!

As I reflect on the school year, I am amazed at all ofthefantastic opportunities that we have taken part in; from aplethora ofextra-curricular experiences to a variety of volunteer

and communityinitiatives, our students and staff haveembodied what Blyth is all about!

To culminate another excellent school year we arecelebratingour Grade 8 and Grade 12 graduates this Friday! What a greatway torecognize the years of hard work and achievement ofmonumental milestones.

Remember everyone, less than two hard fought weeksremainand then a wonderful two month vacation!

I highly encourage all students to get involved in theircommunity during the break. You require a total of 40community involvement hours in order to graduate ... why notget a head start this summer? Remember to pick up acommunity involvement form by the front office before youleave for the break.
