• Service Project included Dinner and a Movie – advocating for people with disabilities and enjoying dinner and activities with Arc clients and spending time with clients at their Point Breeze Day Center

• Students were able to grasp a perspective between institutional living and community integration for people with disabilities.

• multiple students expressed how visiting Point Breeze put a "face" to the issue of people with disabilities

• Personal interaction between students and clients at Point Breeze left lasting impressions on both parties.

• multiple students were heartened by the support of clients, their families, other students and Arc staff for their support of the L&P efforts

• 2 students want to help with Arc's dinner fundraiser

• 2 students expressed an interest in playing basket ball with a client

• 2 students requested copies of photographs taken during their visit at Point Breeze.

• 1 student expressed interest in a summer internship with UW 

• Parents’ comment:  the work of the class “renews our faith in humanity”.
