Grace and peace be unto you UNITED,
And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. Matthew 20:19
We are in the midst of Holy Week, a time when we find ourselves in deep reflection, renewal, transformation, thanksgiving and rejoicing. God is so awesome, and it is such a joy to honor the suffering has Christ borne on our behalf. As we spend time at the foot of the cross, may we enter into the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings that we may walk in the full power of His resurrection.
We give a great big thank you to everyone who made it to Total Praise 2014. May the Lord enlarge your borders and give us singleness of heart as we go HIGHER in the worship.
Open your hearts to receive another word from the Lord this month from Pastor James Porter to continue the renewal our minds to the Life More Abundantly that exists for us as believers.
Read on and be blessed UNITED, and above all, continue to stand. In His Service, Annette ParkinsEditorwww.unitedcovenantchurches.org

Life More AbundantlyPart 2
proper alignment with His word. We must maintain our position at all cost. Matthew 13:58 KJV
The word of God states in 2 Peter 1 "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby are given unto us [exceedingly] great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." 2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV
These two passages of scripture have so much persuasion for the born again believer. He has given us [all] things that pertain to life and Godliness. The book of John says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
As I stated in part one of "Abundant Living" we must know how to appropriate the promises of God. The two key components are believing in God's word and understanding God's love. Notice in Matthew, "And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." We limit God in our lives when our belief system is not in
Surely, if God would give His only begotten son to save the world He would have no problem meeting our other needs. Our needs, whether financial, healing, deliverance, or otherwise, by faith have been met. In the Greek the word exceedingly is megistos which means greatest or very great, but it's related to the word megas which means great, large, loud, mighty, and strong. This is our God! He is the God of more than enough. We must believe this. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is....
We can't believe part of God's word and not all of God's word. When God's word says ALL we should accept that with the same weight as we accept salvation. The enemy has deceived us long enough. It's time to discover what the ALL entails. The ALL entails the everlasting love of God.
The one thing that we must remain confident of is....that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

And we give the Lord, TOTAL PRAISE!
HighlightsApril 2-5, 2014 was a blessed time in the Lord as UNITED came together in Baltimore, MD for a powerful time in worship and informative workshops facilitated by Maurette Brown-Clark and Isaiah D. Thomas. We were refreshed, encouraged, and equipped to press forward in the great work God is doing in this season.
This years closing concert featured the UCCC Mass Choir and Dancers, along with amazing local artists which include Mandella Simmons, Khare, Harmony, and more. We closed the conference with our traditional rendering of Total Praise in song and dance, this year, joined by our new family in the city of Baltimore. We give God all the glory for a blessed time of unity in the Lord.
We thank the Lord for His presence, His worship and His goodness as UNITED goes from glory to glory. Thank you again to those in attendance for
your sacrifice, and your faithfulness. He deserves TOTAL PRAISE!
