OLD BAR
TOKYO ( U P I ) - B a r Lupan, said to be the oldest bar on the Girvza, still is heated with a German Junkel coal stove purchased in 1928, when the bar opened. When it was purchased, the stove cost 280 yen (77 cents.)
The bar maintains an air of antiquity with oil lamps hung from the ceiling and a scratched and dented wooden ba r counter.
