OutfoxTV provides free TV to the desktop with an app and website offering over 100 channels of free entertainment. An early release had technical issues and was difficult to uninstall from browsers, but was quickly fixed by Outfox. Please DO NOT fall for online scams claiming 'OutfoxTV Virus' has taken over your computer - this is a scam spread by people who want to make you pay for their software and services. The attached user guide shows you how to configure OutfoxTV and also how to use the inbuilt uninstaller, and it's absolutely free. If you have any worries, or any issues getting uninstall to work, please email [email protected] (also free). DO NOT pay anyone who says they are charging you to remove outfox.tv - these services are a scam. *NOT* A VIRUS!!

Desktop Launchbar
The Desktop Launchbar defaults to the right hand side of your desktop, displaying a scrollable list of available channels.
The Close button allows easy closing of the Launchbarif needed.
Once closed, the Desktop Launchbar can be re-opened using the OutfoxTV icon in the Task bar.
Website link OutfoxTV also installs by default with a browser tab set to www.outfox.tv to allow instant viewing of the most popular content. This is an option which the user can change in Settings.

Settings
Choose Settings using the icon located on the Desktop Launchbar.
Or choose Settings from the Start / All Programs / OutfoxTV menu.
Settings OutfoxTV allows you to change how it behaves once installed on your PC.

Settings Panel
The Settings panel allows you to customize how you view and use OutfoxTV on your device.
Remove Browser Tabs
To remove the saved tab inyour browser, simply uncheck the “Save Outfox.TV as a tab in web browser” option andSave Settings
Note: click Save Settings, then restart all browser/s after change is applied, to see changes take effect.

Hide Desktop Launchbar
To hide the OutfoxTV Launchbar from your Desktop, uncheck “Show Desktop Launchbar on startup” and Save Settings.
As shown on the above options, you are also able to change the location of the launchbar on screen, and whether the desktop launchbar should display in the foreground or background compared to your browser windows.
Click Save Settings after any change is made.

You may also alter the launchbar location, and determine whether it should display in front of your active browser windows (Foreground) or hide behind your browsers (Background).

Restoring HiddenOutfoxTV Launchbar
When the Desktop Launchbar is set to Background, you may find it difficult to update the Settings or quickly restore the Launchbar to view channels. In this case, you can use the program icon in the Systray at bottom right corner of Windows screen.
And right click, which will temporarily display the Launchbar and allow you to reach Settings if required.

Option 3Use the Control Panel / Uninstall Program feature to select OutfoxTV and click “Change” to Uninstall
Having selected one of the Uninstall options above, you will be presented with the Uninstall process. The first screen provides the opportunity to change OutfoxTV to stealth mode by removing the saved browser tab and/or the visible Desktop Launchbar. Unchecking these boxes then “Save Settings”, and restarting any browsers, will apply these settings.

Should you wish to completely uninstall OutfoxTV, choose the Uninstall option to proceed to the next screen.
If you wish to remove the Application and also remove the saved browser tabs that provide a link to www.outfox.tv, ensure you select the “Remove www.outfox.tv from saved browser tab/homepage” checkbox, then click Uninstall.

You will receive a message that the Uninstallation is complete.
ImportantAfter clicking Finish, restart your PC to ensure any remaining files are cleaned up and Uninstall is properly completed.
