The first day of the KWC U19 started great. The matches were highly competitive and fair played by all the teams. We are very happy with this! The second day started early, the first matches started at 9.30. The Region Team won with 14-‐‑10 against Czech Republic, it was an exciting match and start of the day. At 10.30 Morocco played against China, this was their first victory of the tournament, they were very happy. Morocco scored a lot of goals during this match (11) and China played also very well, but couldn’t keep up with the level of Morocco (9-‐‑11). Another great match at 11.30, England played against Germany. England took the lead in an early stage of the match, however a great comeback of Germany in the first part of the second half. England stayed calm and was the strongest player in the end (12-‐‑9). At the same time Russia played against Belgium. The Russian team kept up in the beginning, however after a while the Belgium team improved their defense, which made it hard for the Russian team to score (6 – 20). The day ended with an exciting match between The Netherlands and Chinese Taipei. The score was equal during the break due to a great score from a long distance of Chinese Taipei (6-‐‑6). After the break The Netherlands took the lead and didn’t give it away. A great show, and high level korfball (9-‐‑16).
